The
ugly war within the CBI, marked by the arrest of an officer and the
intervention of the Prime Minister on Monday, traces its roots to attempts by
the political leadership to bypass the established chain of command, multiple
sources have said. The evident protagonists of the battle are CBI director Alok
Verma and his deputy Rakesh Asthana, who has been booked in a bribery case.
With a
midnight order, the Narendra Modi government removed CBI director Alok Verma
from his post by appointing CBI joint director M Nageshwar Rao as the interim
chief of the agency. The decision was approved by the Appointments Committee of
the Cabinet.
Now, questions
are being asked if Alok Verma was illegally removed from the post of CBI
director. Lawyer-activist Prashant Bhushan wrote on Twitter, PM has no
authority to send CBI director on leave as his tenure is protected. It is not
CBI vs CBI. It is CBI versus a corrupt officer planted in the CBI by the PMO. Oct 24
In this post we examine the reasons why the Uranus Full Moon “Wobble” [1] is creating political upheaval in India. First we look at
the current precession corrected solar
return chart of India. Uranus is placed
on the MC (10th house cusp) square
the nodal axis aligned with the horizon. In his book, Mundane or National Astrology, H.S, Greene provides the following
interpretation for Uranus in the 10th house:
If afflicted, there
may be sudden troubles for the Monarch or Government, unpopularity, discontent
among the people, the rulers and the ruled at variance. There may be changes in
the Government, or if the affliction is serious, some defeat, loss of an
election.
The Full Moon of Oct.24 fell on solar return MC
activating Uranus on the cusp.
The second reason can seen even more clearly if we draw the
chart for the Sun-Uranus opposition a few hours before the Full Moon on Oct.
24. Here the opposition is aligned with the horizon and also brings the
connected Grand Cross to the angles once again triggering the Uranus upheaval.
