Uranus and the Sabarimala Temple row

Sabarimala Temple row is all about the conflict between tradition and women rights. As per traditions and customs, women between 10 and 50 years of age were not allowed to enter into Sabarimala Temple. But the situation changed when the Supreme Court on September 28, 2018, ruled that restricting entry of women of menstruating age (between 10 and 50 years old) was unconstitutional.

Kerala’s Sabarimala temple hit the news when it opened on Wednesday (Oct. 24) evening for the first time after the historic Supreme Court verdict. A large number of followers prevented entry of women in that age group. Oct 27.

The gale force winds of change activated by the Uranus Full Moon “Wobble”  [1] continue to break down traditions  accelerating progressive change. At one of India’s holiest temples, doors that were closed to women have been forced open.

The Sun formed an exact opposition to  Uranus  on October 24 UT which aligned perfectly with the horizon axis at Sabarimala. Astrology recognizes the horizon and meridian axes as the places where planets acquire their greatest power. In his blog post for the October 9, 2018 New Moon entitled Trusting Intuition, Accelerating Progressive Change, Nick Fiorenza writes:

Uranus forces a break from the conformity to the past . It supports  freedom and the expression of our uniqueness and originality challenging us to create new frontiers in experience and consciousness. It is the true pioneer, uninhibited by convention and establishment .  However, Uranus in its chronic expression can manifest as fear to change, to be spontaneous, or to take radical steps. It can express as judgment of other’s uniqueness and gifts, or of one's own eccentricities and uniqueness; which covers a fear of being accepted or rejected, of being persecuted, and thus expresses as seeking sameness as a means for gaining acceptance. It can manifest as expressing other's truths and philosophies rather than one's own.

Uranus is currently transiting over Alrescha. Alrescha (Kaitain), Alpha Pisces, a very close pair of bluish-white stars, is the knot of the ribbon tying the two fishes of Pisces together. Alrescha lies across the cusp of sidereal Aries-Pisces, on the shore of sidereal Aries. Alrescha ties our primordial past, articulated by the horizontal fish swimming westward towards earlier Pisces, with our desire to rise from it, articulated by the upward leaping fish on the Aries cusp. Alrescha is the bond (as in glue) that ties our past with our future. Alrescha creates a neurological tension that seeks resolution. This very same tension imparts the motive to aspire to become more than we are. [2]

  1. Hi,

As per the vedic astrology tradition, all the ill effects of planetary alignments can be healed through Karma Vibhaga of astrolgy. i.e There are karmas/worships can be performed to reduce the ill effects of the bad planetary alignments. Hence, Sabarimala judgement can be healed thru certain worship which is adhered in vedic tradition. Moreover that the belief system (not superstition) is under tremendous crack. Thats what is haunting behind such verdict. Example.. As per tradition, Sabarimala is a place to visit for those who take 41 days of austerity . Hence the women cannot undertake this due to her Menstrual Cycle. But these days the devotees neither follow the tradition nor holistic towards the visit. This can be under some influence of the planet which you mentioned as Uranus. But I feel this can be healed thru worship which is mentioned in Karma Vibhaga. You may empazise based on western astrology, But the vedic astrology is the root of all astrology
