Kassandra and the empty Clinton show

Cassandra

Having seen donations to their 'foundation' collapse by 90% since they failed in their bid to regain The White House, The Clintons decided a 13-city paid speaking tour was in order to scrape together some coin. Unfortunately, as the image above shows, the supposed-power-couple's draw is starting to fade as the  Daily Mail reports that just 3,300 tickets were sold in the Scotiabank Arena in downtown Toronto, which holds 19,800. Nov. 29

Bill and Hillary Clinton launched their 13-city paid speaking tour in a Canadian hockey arena Tuesday evening, where there were banks of empty seats.  On that very day Mercury in retrograde motion reached its conjunction with the Sun. Recall that in October and November Venus and Mercury went through their retrograde cycle.

Venus went retrograde on Oct. 5 at  21 Scorpio  and direct on Nov. 16 at 25 Libra. She conjoined the Sun on Oct.26 in retrograde motion at 3 Scorpio.  This date happens to Hillary Clinton’s birthday (born Oct. 26 1949) so that energies of retrograde Venus were definitely focused on Hillary.
The astrological Venus is a complex figure. She guards our values lest they become outdated . Venus retrogrades are ideal times for introspection, to reassess our values.  After  Venus stations direct  we often reject things and people we had  once valued . This can be a trying time for leaders who often lose their mass appeal and can no longer draw the crowds they once did.

Mercury stationed retrograde on Nov. 16 at 13 Sagittarius and will go direct on Dec. 6 at 27 Scorpio.  The Clintons began their lecture tour on Nov. 27 at Toronto  - the very day Mercury reached its inferior conjunction with the Sun at 5 Sagittarius. Sagittarius is a fire sign. Fire as an element has been associated with intuition , the inspirational force that powers our creativity. When Mercury retrogrades through the Fire signs it breaks up our old patterns of expectations of our creative function. We often make a lot of haphazard attempts to ‘start something’ , a poor substitute for true inspiration. Reaching a stuck place can then  bring inner pressure to a bursting point alerting us to a need for change in creative production.

Presented here is the chart for the Sun-Mercury conjunction on Nov.27 drawn for Toronto.  As with all mundane charts,  planetary configuration on the angles are the ones to focus on.  Here we find a Venus  Uranus opposition  aligned very significantly with the horizon and square the Nodal axis. Let us recall that Venus having just come out of her retrograde phase is at the stage of reassessing values and rejecting old, dead values.  Venus square the Node suggests that we could be out of touch with the current social trends. And of course since Venus is opposite Uranus, there could a sudden  revelation of what has changed.

There are details in the chart that are quite stunning. First, a Mercury – Jupiter conjunction in Sagittarius is easily associated with a lecture tour. And secondly, the asteroid Kassandra is conjunct Venus on the Ascendant opposite Uranus.  In her book Mechanics of the Future : ASTEROIDS, Martha Wescott writes:

Stress aspects to Kassandra shows that one’s advice is not heeded or not believed. One may be ignored ; people may not listen to what you have to say through Kassandra. A badly placed Kassandra produces the person who sets up a soapbox, and then doesn’t draw a crowd!
