At
least 50 residents of neighborhoods in Syria's Aleppo have been treated for
symptoms of toxic gas poisoning after militants attacked the residential area
with gas-filled munitions, Syrian media reported.
The
Al-Khalidiye and Al Zahraa neighborhoods, as well as Nile Street, were targeted
by rocket fire on Saturday evening, Syria's state SANA news agency reported.
The munitions used by the rebels were rigged with toxic gas, causing dozens of
civilians to suffer from asphyxiation, the agency said. Nov. 25
Retrogrades and
stations are particular kinds of planetary transits. Retrograde means “backwards.” Its opposite is direct, which means
“forwards.” Station means “stationary.” Astrologers use these words to describe the
movements of planets in the sky and to interpret their meaning for those of us
here on Earth.
Each year, all the
planets from fast-moving Mercury to ponderously-slow Pluto go through periods
when they appear to be moving backwards.
Astrologers are aware that the planets never really travel
backwards—retrograde motion is a factor of our viewpoint from Earth. But astrologers also know that a planetary
transit has a distinct feel depending whether the planet is retrograde or
direct.
The changes in
motion from direct to retrograde and retrograde to direct are called
“stations.” A forward-moving planet will
slow down, come to a stop and then begin moving backwards; a retrograde planet
will do the same in reverse. Planetary
stations are transits we all experience and they can have a lot of drama
attached to them [1].
The news of a toxic gas attack in Aleppo comes just as
Neptune stations to go direct on Nov. 24
-25 [2] just a day before the Disseminating Moon phase that brings the now
forming Mars-Neptune conjunction (exact on Dec.7) to a square with the horizon
axis at Aleppo. When a planet stations, world events normally reflect its
nature more specifically so in places where it aspects the horizon or meridian
axis.
Mars is the planet of aggressive force, provocation, revenge, hate, brutality. Neptune
rules oil, gas, drugs, chemicals and poisons among other things [3].
A Mars-Neptune combination can, therefore, show up as a
poison gas attack.
