The death of George H.W. Bush

George HW Bush, who as the 41st president shepherded the US through a turbulent period in global relations that included the breakup of the Soviet Union and the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait, has died. He was 94. A statement from his office said: “George Herbert Walker Bush, world war two naval aviator, Texas oil pioneer, and 41st president of the United States of America, died on 30 November 2018.

The horoscope of  George H.W. Bush as provided by Astro-Databank [1] is reproduced here. It is fairly easy to see his death. Notice that he has a sharp Sun [21ge] square Uranus [21pi]. Uranus is placed in the 8th house which is linked to death [2]. His current  solar arc progressed Sun [21vi]  is opposite his radix Uranus in the 8th signaling his death.

To complete the picture let us look at the chart for the Last Quarter Moon of Nov. 29 drawn for Houston, Texas where Bush died. Notice how sharply it forms a T-square that aligns with the meridian.   The Moon conjoins Thuban of Draco and the asteroid Lacrimosa. In ancient mythology Draco, the dragon, symbolizes powerful authoritarian figures bent on manipulating and dominating mankind and the asteroid Lacrimosa is associated with death.

Also notice the Mars-Neptune conjunction on the MC which in the last post we linked to the powerful Alaska quake. Is this another manifestation of a different kind of  tremor – the death of a dragon!

Completing the picture is the star Yed Posterior [3] which is conjunct the apex planets – Jupiter and Sun  - of the  Last Quarter Moon T-square.  Yed is the left hand of Ophiuchus holding the serpent. Epsilon (ε, this star Yed Posterior) was also the Euphratean Nita χ-bat, the "Man of Death".
