Hongkong stocks plunge at “Moon Wobble”

By now virtually every trader has personally experienced or participated in a flash crash, whether in FX (most recently two weeks ago when numerous Yen carry pair suddenly tumbled), in stocks or in bonds. But few have observed a flash crash which itself sparks a domino effect of more flash crashes. That's precisely what happened in Hong Kong overnight, when a string of local stocks plunged without warning and without any news in afternoon trading, the second perfectly unpredictable flash crash in two weeks leaving investors nursing massive, and unexplained, losses in the world’s fourth-largest equity market.  Jan 17 https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-01-17/no-one-knows-whats-going-hong-kong-stocks-suddenly-plummet-avalanche-flash-crashes

The Ancients kept a watch on the monthly rhythm of lunation cycle since they experienced a deep connection with nature and her cycles. But today we are a culture of city dwellers and office workers. Most of us have lost touch with the most fundamental cycles of nature. Few of us know the phase of the moon from day-to-day and even fewer are aware that Moon phases can activate significant terrestrial events. Astrologers routinely draw maps of the phases of the Moon. They then look to see if important planetary configurations align with the angles – horizon or meridian axes. Events symbolized by those configurations are then likely to occur at the place.

Shown here is the chart for the Gibbous Moon phase drawn for Hongkong. The Moon is placed in the 5th house connected stock markets [1].

The Moon is anchored to the Sun which conjoins the South Node and is part of a Grand Cross that aligns with the meridian.  The  Sun conjunct the Nodes is a phenomena known as Moon Wobble.

What is a “Moon Wobble”.
Moon Wobbles were discovered in the 1930's, when research by astrologer Carl Payne Tobey (1902-1980), the original editor of Astrology Magazine, revealed that disasters occur in cycles associated with the conjunction (0°), opposition (180°) and square (90°) from the Sun to the Moon's Node. These powerful contacts occur when the Sun and the Node are in the same sign, or the opposing sign, or when the Sun is in a square aspect to the nodal axis. During Moon Wobble the instability factor is high, resulting in more accidents, fires, plane crashes, freak accidents, floods, feats of nature, bizarre weather patterns, earthquakes, tornadoes, violence, Terrorism, riots, and political and personal upheavals. These Cycles bring suppressed energies in people and Mother Nature to the surface, erupting and disrupting.

So essentially, it is the Moon Wobble that is causing the instability with the Moon in the 5th house identifying where the instability is taking place!
