Eclipse lunar cycles mark a time of shifting into a new
octave of experience. They offer a time to resynchronize our selves with the
ever-changing cosmic currents supporting our evolutionary progression in
consciousness. They tend to bring about endings and new beginnings. Eclipse
influences generally extend about six months. We are, therefore, still in the
wake of the powerful total lunar eclipse of Jan.21. Astrologers recognize that
the effect of eclipses is felt most powerfully in places where they align with
the horizon or meridian. Can it be a coincidence that the Jan. 21 eclipse
aligns with the meridian at Hanoi (as well as at Washington, DC!).

The nature of the effect that eclipses have in our lives is
a function of the star alignments and other aspecting planets occurring at the
time of the eclipse. Let us remember that the stars incline, they do not compel
so it is always up to us how we combine
the various elements and manifest them as events in our lives.
Notice that this eclipse has the Moon on the North Node in
Cancer with the South Node in Capricorn. The South Node refers to the past
while the North Node indicates where we should be headed in the future. Here
the South Node stars are those of the war like Eagle and the cunning and
devious Fox (Vulpecula) while those of the North Node are in caring and
nurturing Cancer. In the current context this would imply a need to get away
from war and move towards peaceful co-existence.
The asteroids and planets in the mix add the details of the
challenge presented by the eclipse. Let us begin with some of the

Atropos/Hera
Some relationhips will come to an end; because of an imbalance
or an obvious instance that shows that some folks don't "play" fair!
Pallas/Uranus
This alignment
supports us to relinquish the less-evolved Pallas expression: spiteful
withdrawal based upon judgments and side-taking and evolve radical new ways of
interacting and participating heretofore unavailable for humanity-- in the
interest of all parties, rather than of just one side. We can now begin a
period of creating a radically new world.
Requiem/Uranus
An acceptance of the
differences among people and our own internal perception of our "eccentricities;" one comes to terms with it, to accept it.
Hybris/Uranus
Expectations of self
and others can go through a process of
change now, provided there is enough space in the
model (and a willingness to bend rigid demands and expectations.) There may be
periods of or insistence on "bucking" what is expected of one,
as well as insightful flashes about how
one "bought into" narrow life and
behavior paths as circumscribed by parents, others and by what one learned (and chose to dignify) from accrued
experience.
And finally we get to the newly discovered dwarf planet
Haumea in the mix. Nick Fiorenza

A summit between US President Donald Trump
and the North Korean leader Kim Jong-un ended with no agreement after the US refused
North Korean demands for sanctions relief, President Trump said.
"It was all about the the
sanctions," Mr Trump told reporters. "They wanted the sanctions
lifted in their entirety and we couldn't do that." BBC
It appears that the meeting ended….exactly as
per the option highlighted in the post above. The players were unable to meet
the challenge of the lunar eclipse!
