Chancellor Angela Merkel has turned the corner on relations with the United
States. Her speech at the Munich Security Conference should be considered
Germany’s divorce filing from the U.S.-led post-WWII institutional order. It’s
clear that to me now that Merkel’s priorities for what is left of her term in
office are as follows:Carve out an independent path for EU foreign policy from
the U.S……
Quite often it happens that we have been working on
ourselves behind the scene and have not yet shown our new selves to the outer
world. Then quite suddenly a cosmic event occurs which forces our new
personality to come out of the shadows. This applies to individuals as well as
nations.
Astrologers routinely draw the chart for New Moons and Full Moons
(Lunations) at the capitals of countries to see if they have a special message
for the place. The message is coded into the lunations through the stars that
form its backdrop. And this message is visible clearly if the lunation occurs
on the horizon or meridian axes.
The Munich Security Conference ended on Feb. 17 just two
days before the month’s Full Moon. A chart drawn for the Full Moon at Berlin
has the luminaries aligned very significantly with the horizon axis. The Moon
[0vi42] is conjunct the alpha star of Leo star - Regulus [0vi05] while Sun is
amid the stars of sidereal Aquarius. About the Full Moon, Nick Fiorenza writes:

On the personal level,
Regulus is about our inner "vertical integrity," that is, living true to self, openly on
the world stage. This means walking in confidence and with self-respect,
aligned with the truth in our hearts, in thought, word, and deed. Our personal integrity, our
inner vertical attunement, must precede any horizontal, humanitarian participation
in the world (Leo's opposite Aquarian pole). Without this inner integrity we
become self-sacrificing, entrapped in a sympathetic resonance of dance, giving
self away at the cost of our hearts' truth. This perpetuates discord and
dysfunction for self and for others because we are simply living a lie. Only by
living from our personal integrity and true to heart do we provide opportunity
for others to also stand in their integrity and live their truth.
When studying a lunation chart, astrologers often look to
see if the lunation aspects any planet. The nature of the planet adds more detail. Here we see that the TNP
Admetus forms a T-square with Full Moon luminaries. Martha Wescott defines
Admetus as under:

Readers will agree that by moving away from the US, Merkel
and Germany are making a statement about living in integrity….true to their
