Flint Residents to Sue EPA Over Water Crisis

As Flint, Michigan, marks five years since the city's deadly water crisis began, a federal judge ruled in favor of residents who want to sue the federal government for not acting promptly to ensure the city had clean drinking water. In mundane astrology, the cardinal ingresses of the Sun have a traditional reputation as important mundane events. Of these the Capricorn Ingress is considered by many astrologers to be so important as to be referred to as the Annual Chart. We present here the current Capricorn Ingress chart for Flint, Michigan. 

As always planets on the angles ( horizon and meridian axes) are the ones to focus on. Why? Because the angles are the fastest moving element of a chart (about 1 degree in 4 minutes) and therefore specific for a place. So although the ingress is worldwide in scope, its effects are felt primarily through the planets that appear on the angles.

Here we see the TNPs Kronos-Hades on the Ascendant opposite Saturn on the descendant. Martha Wescott interprets the combination as follows:

Kronos – Hades: to note disgust with government or leadership.

Saturn – Kronos : Leaders are held accountable or face consequences.

The next question is when is this combination likely to manifest. Astrologers have developed techniques to progress (i.e. move the chart forward in time) to find out when the promise in the radix comes due. One such method is referred to as the solar quotidian method. Roughly speaking, the angles are moved forward by approximately a degree per day. The days on which the progressed angles arrive at  the relevant planetary configuration are times when the radix promise can be expected to occur in the  form of an event.

Here is the Capricorn Ingress chart progressed to April 23, the date of the news. Notice that combination TNPs Kronos-Hades opposite Saturn now aligns with the meridian and is thereby triggered resulting in an event where the government is held accountable.

But that is not all. The TNPs Kronos and Hades are conjunct stars of the Chinese asterism Tsing, The Well. When this asterism was prominent ,  the Chinese were reminded to clean existing wells and dig new ones. Rotting leaves and mud had to be removed and every care taken that the water was clear and fresh. The Chinese knew that unclean wells could bring disease [1].
