Orion fights the Scorpion
Now
that the redacted 448-page Mueller report has been released to the public,
people on both sides of the aisle have been madly poring over the results of
the special counsel's 22-month Russia probe. Apr.18
In a previous blogpost entitled Orion & Scorpius: Trump vs Comey dt. May 17, 2017 [1], I wrote:
Trump’s radix Sun
[22ge55] is opposite Comey’s radix Sun [22sa43]. It may be instructive to look at the star backdrop
for Trump and Comey’s radix Suns. Trump’s Sun is conjunct Al Nilam, epsilon
Orion [22ge42] while Comey’s Sun is
conjunct Lesath, upsilon (υ) Scorpius [23sa27]. The following extract narrates
an ancient Greek story about Orion and
the Scorpion.
Orion and Scorpius are
two of the most easily recognized constellations in the sky. Orion is best seen
in the northerm winter; Scorpius is a summertime constellation. Orion was a
skilled hunter. He was also boastful, asserting that no animal alive could harm
him. Juno, wife of Jupiter, disliked mortal men, especially boastful men, so
she decided to teach Orion a lesson. She placed a scorpion on the path that
Orion took daily to his hunting grounds. As you might expect, Orion trod upon
the scorpion, which stung him and killed him.
I guess we can see myth applying to the entire Russiagate
story. The only difference here is unlike Orion, Trump does not die although he
is stung by the “scorpion”. Now let us turn our attention to the reported actual
time of AG Barr’s press conference (9:34 am) releasing the Mueller report which
essentially exonerates Trump. Can it be a coincidence that the Ascendant [23ge]
conjoins Trump ‘s radix Sun [23ge] along
with stationary Jupiter [24sa] – the planet
of good luck – on the Descendant amid the stars of the Scorpion!
Uranian astrology uses a great technique of midpoints which
we can apply here. Using a 90 degree sort we
find that Jupiter makes a square aspect to the Mars/Hades and
Mercury/Neptune midpoints.
Asc = Jupiter = Mars/Hades = Mercury/Neptune
In her book, The
Orders of Light, Martha Wescott provides the following interpretation:
Mars/Hades : to handle
anger through covert action, investigation, or attempts to demean; malicious
actions; actions that result in humiliation or a mistake.
In his essay Mercury
and Neptune: Tall Tales, Fantasy Fiction and Fake News, Astrologer Patrick
Watson writes:
In astrology, Mercury
is the messenger planet of communication, calculation and language, logic and
rationality, neutrality and impartiality. Neptune is the illusionist planet of
spectacle and fantasy, all that is synthetic and virtual, glitzy and glamorous,
dreamlike and nightmarish. Together, their interaction tracks the life cycle,
evolution and complex of communal storytelling and irrationality, the verbal
and written traditions of myth and imagination, and accompanying departures
from accuracy and reality. This cycle is associated with impracticality,
delusions, myth-making, tall tales, unreliable narrators, media propaganda,
conspiracy theories, distractions, frauds, hoaxes, absurdism, surrealism,
nonsense, inspiring or deceptive language. This planetary pair has an
interesting correlation with some of the major players and entities
contributing to the current Post-Truth era of political discourse disconnected
from discernible facts and reality. https://bit.ly/2ZnkczF
Mythological stories can never become irrelevant …only the
actors change.
