The Belt and Road Initiative Forum

The second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation is about to open in Beijing. It will take place from 25th to 27th April, 2019. The Chinese President Xi Jinping is expected to deliver the keynote address. It is expected to be an event of tremendous proportions and importance: leaders from 37 countries will participate, including Russia’s President Vladimir Putin and President Duterte of the Philippines. A predictive technique routinely used by astrologers  is the Solar Return Chart (birthday chart). This is a horoscope drawn for the exact time the Sun returns to its radix position every year. Its use has the advantage of identifying significant dates in the year when the promise contained in the return chart can be expected to be fulfilled.  The current solar return chart for China (1 Oct. 1949; 3:02 pm, Beijing)  is shown here. Notice the Grand Cross aligned very significantly with the meridian.

Mars and the South Node on the IC are amid stars of sidereal Capricorn. The South Node stars point towards the past and  attitudes that we need to get out of in order to proceed towards attitudes defined by the North Node stars.  In this area of Capricorn and under the auspices of  the  Archer and Altair – the Eagle  both symbos l of  conquest, tyranny and war it brings emphasis to redefining militaristic strategies.  Mars with the South Node is about redefining these past patterns and tendencies, impelling us, both personally and globally, to elevate the expression of Mars.

The impetus of the Mars South Node is  to redefine the  use of power and direct to the North Node conjoining Al Tarf (β) of Cancer and the forepaw of the Great Bear.  Al Tarf imparts a desire to work for and care for others, to bring elements together that physically nourish and protect others. The forepaw of the Great Bear, marked by Talitha (Iota) and Alkaphrah (Kappa) of Ursa Major, which Nick Fiorenza dubs to be the protectress, guardian, and nurturer of humanity. This duo is also the Chinese "High Dignitary." Although minor stars, they should not be taken lightly, as they hold a principal office within the Bear. Of the Great Bear they are associated with the global scene and world powers. They inspire us to become a caring and nurturing force for each other that responsibly supports our emergence from darkness, dogma, and delusion, emergence from the limits and bounds created by selfish, fearful or controlling beliefs, a force that supports us to move into freedom and in greater personal fulfillment.

Uranus on the descendant reveals where and how we break from the conformity of the past.. It supports the expression of our uniqueness and originality. Uranus brings the ability to spontaneously change and to create new frontiers in experience and consciousness. It is the true pioneer, uninhibited by convention and establishment. Here it is opposite the TNP Apollon which is linked to business and commerce so that the two  together are heralding new ways of doing business.

Now let us progress the solar return chart to April 25, the date of the opening of the second Belt and Road Forum. Notice that the Grand Cross once aligns with the angles triggering its essence on that date.
