When
history of the present US-Iran stand-off in the Persian Gulf is written, future
scholars may note how it was Tehran that saved the day from full-scale war by
its responsible diplomatic outreach to regional neighbors. This weekend saw the

Astrologers regard planetary combinations that appear in the
sky as providing opportunities for changes in world affairs. This is not to say
events can be foretold. It is up to us
to decide whether we take the opportunity to move into a brighter future or
refuse to move forward remaining entrenched in past patterns of behavior.

unacceptable behavior, often driven from greed or inflated pride (Once again a perfect description
of US motives). Although Eris can create a disrupting commotion,
upsetting our existing, limiting and antiquated structures of consciousness,
she opens us to see beyond the finite bounds of our current perception, beyond
the bounds we place upon ourselves by arousing and challenging our egoic
defenses. In doing so, we are left to redefine and reorganize our world view to
embrace a far vaster reality—a view more fitting to our rapidly expanding
awareness. The discord and disruption Eris creates often results in a positive
outcome in the longer term, as such how disrupting events can catalyze
significant shifts in our lives that we would not otherwise initiate on our
own, or by impelling us to take new paths that we would not otherwise embark
upon that lead to more appropriate outcomes.
But how can we be sure that the Aries ingress chart is indeed influencing Iran’s actions. Well,
astrologers have developed techniques to progress (i.e. move a chart forward in
time) to find out when the promise in the radix comes due. The days on which
the progressed angles (horizon or meridian) arrive at the relevant planetary configuration are
times when the radix promise can be expected to occur in the form of an event.

29, the date of the news article. Notice the near perfect alignment of the
Grand Cross with the horizon axis on this date suggesting that its energy is at
work in events taking place in Tehran.
