Pluto transit and the horoscope of Boeing

As the jarring truth about Boeing's "cost-cutting above all" philosophy involving the company's deadly, ill-fated 737 MAX  (or whatever the company's ill-fated plane may be called soon) receives an ever-wider public appreciation, the company is finding it increasingly difficult to do business as usual. Take the Paris Air Show, traditionally the venue where the world's largest aircraft makers lock in deals worth tens of billions of dollars. Well, the first day of the 2019 edition of this boondoggle couldn't have gone any worse for Boeing, and alternatively it couldn't have been better for Airbus, which locked in $13 billion in orders for new jets.  https://bit.ly/31GuHiX

Boeing was founded by William Boeing on July 15, 1916, in Seattle, Washington. A noon horoscope based on this data is presented here. What immediately strikes us is the powerful transit of Pluto and Saturn opposite the radix Sun [22cn].

Pluto was the Roman god of death and transformation. It rules upheaval, breakdown and decay, but also regeneration and the purifying fire of catharsis. It reflects the archetypal Underworld--the dark, mysterious, and often terrifying reality which lurks beneath the surface of things, beneath our ego and societal conventions and the veneer of civilization, and which is periodically unleashed with great destructive and transformative force. Many of the problematic instincts that lie deep within the human psyche, such as murderous hatred, violent jealousy, compulsive greed and lust and so forth, reflect the activity of Pluto.

When selfish ambition, power, authority, domination, control, fear, anxiety, biased judgments, and distorted rationalizations are at the base of individual or collective consciousness, the momentum of Pluto’s  enforcement agenda can cut a path of great destructiveness and ignite a cataclysmic experience.

Pluto’s transit through Capricorn is a testing time for the durability of existing structures, programs, and ideologies. Commonly accepted standards of doing business – of economics, commerce, industry, business, politics, religions, customs, social ethics and hierarchies - are put to the test.

Token acceptance of “getting away with whatever you can” has long been a factor of everyday life and of “business as usual”. This philosophy is readily evident in corporate and political worlds as well as in individual lives.

Pluto’s stripping away process is programmed  to expose the corrupt workings of the system - both the rationalizations that perpetuate the reality base, and the corrupt individuals, organizations, corporations, etc., who have learned to use the system to their self-serving advantage.

But Pluto transit opposite Boeing’s Sun is a long term transit, what is triggering its action now. As the news reported above reaches us, transit Mars and Mercury are conjoining Boeing’s radix Sun. To understand  what that means , I quote from a previous post [1]:

A critical planetary configuration occurring between roughly June 12 to June 21  is shown diagrammatically here. Mars and Mercury are conjunct the North Lunar Node  in opposition to the Saturn-Pluto-South Lunar Node.  These fast moving planets act as triggers to the geometries formed by the slower moving planets. They create a stimulus for progressive action to move from limiting and long-standing behavioral patterns, mentalities, modalities of living, and structural systems or conditions we have established in our lives (South Node).

Does Boeing have it within itself to transform  or will it simply die?
