Finally,
the process of ending the war in Ukraine seems to be starting in earnest. But
to understand how the war can now realistically end, the basic history of how
it began needs first to be acknowledged, and this history is something that

destiny may be surprised by how much information can be gleaned from the

Let us examine the solar return chart of Ukraine. Notice
that the Sun is conjunct the South Node and part of a Grand Cross that
straddles the horizon. The South Node of the Moon symbolizes past patterns of
behavior that have outlived their usefulness and need to be discarded. Here the
South Node is amid stars of the Archer and the Eagle both easily recognizable
symbols of war.
Uranus on the descendant is conjunct the star Alrescha. Alrescha (Kaitain), Alpha Pisces, a
very close pair of bluish-white stars, is the knot of the ribbon tying the two
fishes of Pisces together. Alrescha lies across the cusp of sidereal
Aries-Pisces, on the shore of sidereal Aries. Alrescha ties our primordial
past, articulated by the horizontal fish swimming westward towards earlier
Pisces, with our desire to rise from it, articulated by the upward leaping fish
on the Aries cusp. Alrescha is the bond (as in glue) that ties our past with
our future. Alrescha creates a neurological tension that seeks resolution. This
very same tension imparts the motive to aspire to become more than we are.
Uranus forces a break from the conformity to the past . It
supports freedom and the expression of
our uniqueness and originality challenging us to create new frontiers in
experience and consciousness. It is the true pioneer, uninhibited by convention
and establishment so that identifying with the westward swimming fish comes easily
to Uranus.
Astrologers have developed techniques to progress (i.e. move
a chart forward in time) to find out when the promise in the radix comes due.
One such method is referred to as the solar quotidian method. Roughly speaking,
the angles are moved forward by approximately a degree per day. The days on
which the progressed angles arrive at
the relevant planetary configuration are times when the radix promise
can be expected to occur in the form of
an event.
