Angela
Merkel has insisted she is in good health after experiencing a third bout of
shaking in as many weeks at a public event in Berlin. The German chancellor was
seen trembling during military honours for Finland’s prime minister, Antti
Rinne, in the forecourt of her chancellery on Wednesday morning. The bout of
shaking was said to be less intense than in the previous two instances, and stopped
when Merkel moved her body. Jul.10 https://www.theguardian.com/world/2019/jul/10/angela-merkel-seen-shaking-for-third-time
The horoscope of Angela Merkel as provided by Astro-Databank
is reproduced here. For the purpose of our analysis we will focus on the sharp
T-square aligned with the meridian. At the apex of the T is a Sun-Uranus
conjunction in the 8th house in square aspect to the Admetus-Neptune opposition. But why is this
T-square important now. Well for two reasons (a) her solar arc converse Mars at
[24li] triggers the T (b) a lunar eclipse on her birthday falls right on top of
her Sun-Uranus conjunction.
Let us turn our attention to the Uranus-Admetus square which
is part of the T. Here is Martha Wescott’s delineation [2] of this combination:
Uranus-Admetus: Changes
and tension “at the core” of the person; internal “shaking” and sudden
cramping; to have chronic and deep muscular, cellular and emotional tension; to
attempt to endure or stay the same (instead of change); attempts to contain or
limit the effects of change or the scope of rebellion and demand for
independence.
It is well known that Angela Merkel is facing a rebellion in
her own party as well in the EU. Astrologers recognize Uranus as the planet
that demands change. Uranus forces a break from the conformity to the past . It
supports freedom and the expression of
our uniqueness and originality challenging us to create new frontiers in
experience and consciousness. On the other hand, a key phrase for the TNP
Admetus is “having cramps or other
indications that reveal a tightening to endure/persevere/hang in there” [3].
So when Uranus clashes with Admetus what can we expect!
