Astrology of the Yemen civil war

Putting to rest any remaining doubt of America's continued deep military involvement in the Yemen war, a US military drone was shot down outside the Yemeni capital of Sanaa on Tuesday night. After local footage of fiery wreckage falling from the night sky over Yemen appeared online, US officials confirmed to Reuters on Wednesday that it was authentic, and further it was the second such US drone shoot down in months. The Yemeni Civil War is an ongoing conflict that began on 19 March 2015 between two factions: the Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi supported by the Saudis and the Houthi armed movement, along with their supporters and allies. Both claim to constitute the official government of Yemen. Houthi forces are currently controlling the capital SanaŹ½a, allied with forces loyal to the former president Ali Abdullah Saleh, have clashed with the forces loyal to Hadi who are based in Aden.

A  chart for the Aries Ingress of the Sun at Sanaa, Yemen just two days after the start of the civil war is shown here. Notice the powerful T-square containing Uranus-Pluto-Zeus straddling the horizon.

The Uranus-Pluto square represents an upheaval and transformation that marks the end of an old order and the beginning of a new one.

Uranus in Aries is a radical inspirer of self-actualizing freedoms, spurring us to instinctively rise to whatever impulse for action or assertion will generate innovative forward motion. Uranus in Aries is not cowardly, nor especially thoughtful. Rather, he will courageously lurch ahead even when he isn't sure what will happen next or after that, just to express some, any, energetic release.

Pluto in Capricorn smells the churning threats to its commanding authority… and, and most often tightens the grip of his iron fist. He wants to stay on top and does so by crushing any opposition.

So what has changed since the start of the civil war in March 2015? Well for one thing, Saturn has arrived  to a conjunction of radix Pluto and is about to station direct in mid September 2019.

Saturn–Pluto cycle is a test of capacity and resilience. Most often as in the case of the Yemenis here, we have not been too aggressive with our Plutonian drives and have instead allowed the Pluto process to remain submerged. In this case defiance and rage has not been part of our repertoire in dealing with those who transgress our boundaries. Under Saturn-Pluto, fateful circumstances then force us to let go of our past and start anew.  Saturn acting on Pluto allows us the transformative option of bringing more of our Pluto potential into a concrete, workable form often through victory over forces that had been keeping us down and out.

This is exactly what is happening now with the recent ability of Houthis to hit back at the Saudis being reported in the news.

Update Sep.15, 2019
Saturn in transit is now stationing at  [13cp] and will go direct on Sep.18 right on top of radix Pluto in the Aries Ingress chart of 2015. This fulfills the “prediction” in the post ….

Saturn acting on Pluto allows us the transformative option of bringing more of our Pluto potential into a concrete, workable form often through victory over forces that had been keeping us down and out.
