Jupiter station unleashes “storms”

Pisces is an era of storms and of wholesale disintegration. But Piscean winds of destiny may impel men of vision and courage to discover many a "new world," as much as they do destroy or suffocate the many who stubbornly resist change – Dane Rudhyar

Chinese authorities have declared a red alert as a powerful typhoon heads towards the eastern coast. Typhoon Lekima is currently battering Taiwan with winds of more than 190km/h (120mph) and is due to make landfall in China's Zhejiang province on Saturday. Emergency teams have been deployed to the region to guide relief work, China's emergency ministry said. Thousands of people further up the coast in Shanghai have been warned to prepare to evacuate. Throughout history people have noticed correlations between eclipses and the weather. Serious astro-meteorologists often cast a chart for the eclipse at the location they wish to study. Here is a chart for the July 3 solar eclipse at Shanghai. The eclipse has the Jupiter-Neptune square straddling the horizon. For events connected with the stars conjunct both Jupiter in Sagittarius  and Neptune in Pisces, Diana Rosenberg lists “storms”.  Just as a red alert  for  a powerful typhoon is being declared, Jupiter is stationing on the descendant of the eclipse chart.

In connection with the stars that align with the eclipse, Diana Rosenberg writes:

Ptolemy’s description of these stars as “wet and damaging” proves out! There were chart placements at these stars at a 1703 solar eclipse set for London preceding a historic Royal Navy storm disaster; in 1882 when a storm and massive sea surge hit Bombay killing about a 100,000; when a huge typhoon hit Hong Kong in 1906 killing about 10,000; at the 1898 Winter Solstice: a series of ferocious storms with mountainous seas swept the North Atlantic from the end of December to March causing havoc to shipping; when Hurricane Hugo bearing 135 mph winds, hit Charleston, SC in 1989; a solar eclipse here in 1992 preceded Florida’s devastating Hurricane Andrew, Hawaii’s Hurricane Iniki and Guam’s Typhoon Omar; at the April 2004 that preceded an unprecedented four major hurricanes (Charley, Frances, Ivan and Jeanne) that hit Florida in two months and several others.

Finally, here is some food for thought. In a previous post entitled Jupiter-Neptune: Failure following overextension [1],  I wrote:

Since Jupiter and Neptune are slow moving planets the square is active in roughly the entire period of  June and July. Moreover, at Washington DC, the current New Moon chart, the Cancer Ingress chart as well the US Sibly solar return have the square prominently placed on the angles implying that the US will definitely feel its influence.

With Jupiter stationing to go direct on August 11, these charts are ready to be activated. Brace for all kinds of metaphorical storms…maybe even of the financial variety!
