Rare
photographs of the king of Thailand's newly anointed consort have been released
by the palace, reportedly causing its website to crash. The images show
Sineenat Wongvajirapakdi, 34, piloting a fighter jet, wearing combat fatigues
and aiming a weapon on a firing range. A consort is a title given by a monarch

The horoscope of King Maha Vajiralongkorn of Thailand as
provided by Astro-Databank [2] is reproduced here. As always the most important
planetary aspects are those of the Sun. Here the Sun is conjunct Venus-Pluto
both square Mars. In his book Combination of Stellar Influences,
Ebertin delineates this combination as follows:
Venus-Mars-Pluto: A very strong sex life.
Pluto is now
transiting conjunct the monarch’s Ascendant. Pluto is the god of underworld. As
the governor of hidden depth in all things, Pluto represents hidden potentials,
extreme passions (which are often repressed by society), and a perception that
penetrates the darkness in all things – solving mysteries and unlocking new
power (think psychology and molecular physics).
Ascendant is our persona – the mask we wear and show to the
world. Transit or Natal Pluto conjunct, the Ascendant can suggest the need for the mask to
break at one point, so that a different identity can emerge, perhaps one that
reflects more of our inner truth. This explains the reason for the royal palace
releasing these photos of the consort.
Finally, look at the King’s Wynn Key return for yesterday
when the photos were released. It is no surprise to see Venus-Mars-Pluto
configured with the Ascendant and MC.
