Eclipse downs a US spy plane

Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahed said, "a special American aircraft which was flying over Afghanistan for an intelligence mission was technically shot down by the Taliban."

Eclipses have been known to be connected with accidents especially at places where they occur on the horizon or meridian. The Jan. 11 lunar eclipse fell on the meridian a Ghazni, Afghanistan close to where the US military aircraft came down. The eclipse Moon on the MC was conjunct the TNPs Kronos and Hades and square Zeus on the Ascendant.  Martha Wescott associates Kronos with aircrafts, Zeus with the military and Hades with spying. Moreover, the eclipse Sun is conjunct Saturn and Pluto on the IC amid stars of the Archer and Aquila, the Eagle – both easily recognizable symbols of war. The combination is often depicted as in the image – a perfect symbolic representation of a military aircraft.

In conclusion we may say that the eclipse had set the stage for the accident involving a military aircraft at Ghazni.
