Iran's Missile
Launch Against Two U.S. Bases
Last
night Iran fired 22 Qiam missiles towards two U.S. bases in Iraq. Between 1:45
and 2:15 local time (~22:00 UTC) seventeen missiles hit the Ain al Asad airbase
west of Ramadi. Five missiles were aimed at Erbil airport in the northern Kurdish
region of Iraq. There were no casualties.
From the report it appears that there have been no
casualties. I suspect a deal of some sort has taken place with Qatari mediation
possibly including the withdrawal of US troops from Iraq. As I mentioned in the
main post, the Sabian symbol for the DRC Composite Sun [26li] was a curious
picture of an Eagle turning into a Dove. It would appear that the parties
concerned have lived up to highest and most creative meaning of the degree symbol.
Peace has been chosen above war.
