On
Saturday, a man, who was later identified as an army sergeant, walked into a
mall in Nakhon Ratchasima province and opened fire. It took several hours for
the security forces to finally eliminate the shooter, who barricaded himself
inside the building while also live-streaming part of the massacre on social
media. Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha stated that a shooting at the
Terminal 21 shopping mall, in the centre of the city of Nakhon Ratchasima, also
known as Korat, has claimed the lives of at least 27 people, including the
attacker, and injured 57. According to the PM, the gunman went on a rampage due
to a personal problem over the sale of a house.

The ingress of planets into cardinal signs is an
important event in mundane astrology. Charts cast for the ingress are set up to
examine the possible nature of events that may take place. On February 8, Venus entered Aries. A chart
drawn for the ingress at Nakhon Ratchasima is shown here. Notice that Venus
[0ar] is placed exactly on the IC with Mars [24sa] conjoining the Ascendant.
For Mars in this position, in his book Mundane
or National Astrology, H.S. Green writes:
Military affairs
attract attention….it causes strikes, riots, murders, fires, assaults.
For events connected with the stars that conjoin Mars,
Diana Rosenberg includes “severe aggressions and destructions” and writes:
Mula, “a sharp
asterism belonging to the butcher caste” is ruled by the destructive goddess
Nirrti associated with unrighteousness, law breaking, harm and death, and
Manilius wrote of constellation Hercules, “from it comes the kind of thug who
terrorizes a city,” here are outlaw Billy the Kid’’, gangster John Dillinger;
kidnapper/ murderer Bruno Hauptmann; Nazi Gestapo founder Rudolph Diels; Soviet
NKVD Chief Lavrenti Beria (supervised
purges); sadistic mass murderer Werner Kniesek and Satan-worshipping serial
killer/rapist/mutilator Ricardo Ramirez (“The Night Stalker”).
To complete the analysis, among the stars that conjoin
Venus on the IC are those in the constellation of Cetus – the sea monster.
About this area Diana Rosenberg writes:
Although idealistic some may manifest vindictiveness,
intolerance, cruelty, violence, mental instability (sea-monster Cetus
represents subconscious fears, rage and anguish) and indifference to the
suffering of others.
Putting the pieces together we can see why a mentally
unstable soldier fired at ordinary shoppers in a fit of rage.
