Israel Hits a Brick Wall

Elections are supposed to solve problems by reordering government, adopting new policies, and putting new people in control. But how many elections must Israel have before it realizes it can do none of those things because it’s caught in an intractable constitutional bind?

So Netanyahu is back where he started. No matter how many times Israelis go to the polls, they find that that a stable ruling majority is still out of reach [1]. The primary reason for the hung election results is that the Zionist idea is being threatened by a growing number of the population that is turning anti-Zionist challenging Zionism as an ideology for the basis of Israel.

It may surprise those unfamiliar with astrology that the horoscope of a nation can reveal deep psychological issues that the population must confront before it can move forward. Here I continue from a previous post [2] where I wrote about some of those issues. Currently, Israel’s solar arc progressed Sun is on top of its radix Moon which itself is in a slightly wide conjunction to Pluto-Saturn.  A Sun-Moon contact by progression is one of the most powerful direction in astrology. Alan Leo referred to it as a time when the entire mental and physical environment begins to change. The stars that form the backdrop to the Moon tell us the issues that must be confronted before the change can begin. About these stars, Nick Fiorenza writes:

Cancer conjoins Praesepe, the Beehive Star Cluster (M44); Asellus Borealis and Asellus Australis (the ass of the crab); and Azmidiske (Xi) and Sigma Puppis of Argo Navis. Asellus Aus. and Bor., the southern and northern stars that create the ass of the Crab, can indicate antiquated patterns, personal and collective dogmatic belief structures, and sticky modalities of being that perpetuate stasis. Classically they are considered to be unfortunate stars with a somewhat stubborn nature.

Alignments with Praesepe and Asellus can bring up our fears of letting go--fears bound in our belief patterns and those of collective consciousness. They can bring our attention to the possibility of being lost in our own mental obscurations--in the reasons "why not" to go forward, why not to change--in the frenetic buzz of collective mass consciousness--in the dogmas of life, whether personal or collective. Praesepe, the essence of the Scarab / Cancer theme impels our emergence out of the antiquated entrapments we had been living in, whether leaving physical dwellings or antiquated structures of consciousness.

Further confirmation for our analysis comes from the current  Saturn-Pluto (symbolizing power struggles) transit taking place on the lower meridian (IC or 4th house cusp) of the chart.

Saturn Pluto alignments represent the need for deep changes in the structure of society and how we use power. The old order is destroyed and a new one is born, and that means we have to accept the death of the old system. Unfortunately, there aren’t many leaders who appear capable of handling the pressure. Most seem more interested in clinging to power for its own sake.

As the opposite house to the 10th, the 4th house rules those who oppose the government, king, or recognised order. Can it be a coincidence that transiting Saturn-Pluto also forms a square aspect to Netanyahu’s radix Sun[27li]. A square or 90 degree angular separation aspect represents a major obstacle that must be overcome.
