The horoscope of Saudi Arabia has a very significant Sun-Saturn-Jupiter conjunction on the Ascendant. Transiting Saturn-Pluto is now moving over the radix combination in Capricorn.

The sign Capricorn can be symbolically related to a rock that has formed over a long period of time. On a collective as well as individual level, the conditioning patterns and the realities it has created have crystallized to such a degree that consciousness is primarily resistant and largely impenetrable.

To lose control is to enter into the realm of chaos. It is a threatening prospect that Capricorn fears. This forms the root-cause behind Capricorn’s anxiousness to maintain the status quo and to resist change. This keeps a fear-based energy-charge active. Therefore, when the Capricorn archetype is animated by transit, a new level of preservation is ignited, which results in intensified action directed to re-secure control.

Saturn Pluto alignments represent the need for deep changes in the structure of society and how we use power. The old order is destroyed and a new one is born, and that means we have to accept the death of the old system. Unfortunately, there aren’t many leaders who appear capable of handling the pressure. Most seem more interested in clinging to power for its own sake. Some are crazy enough to ignite another war, but whatever the scenario, it can only end in their destruction.

Jupiter’s upcoming transit along with Pluto is taking place over the Ascendant-Sun-Saturn-Jupiter of the Saudi chart. The downside of Jupiter is a tendency to believe you can’t lose. It can boost greed and arrogance and make you feel invincible. This isn’t a good combination when plugged into Saturn Pluto with Mars spoiling for a fight.

On an individual level, if we wish to succeed in the tests of Saturn and Pluto, we must descend within to explore our inner shadow and unconscious complexes rather than overly focusing on external achievement.We may need to discard social rules which we may have internalized to the detriment of our soul urges.  At this time, it will be beneficial to take responsibility for exploring and integrating one’s shadow—whatever personal issues we have not been wanting to acknowledge about ourselves—so we will be less prone to projecting onto others and creating additional conflict.

Notice the Saturn-Pluto conjunction is square the MC – the point which links to kings and rulers. Now watch the chart progressed to March 6 bring the Saturn-Pluto combination to the MC thereby triggering it.

Do we need any further proof that Mbs' action is a completely negative response to Saturn-Pluto?

In Greek mythology, Cronus or the Roman Saturn overthrew his father and ruled during the mythological Golden Age. Cronus learned  that he was destined to be overcome by his own sons, just as he had overthrown his father. As a result, although he sired several gods he devoured them all as soon as they were born to prevent the prophecy. This was  until he was overthrown by one of his own sons and imprisoned in Tartarus.
