The Great Unpatterning Continues

The human mind is conditioned to look for patterns in order to establish a baseline of normal expectations upon which to plan out future actions. This perceptual framework exists to give us safety and security, so disruptions in the patterns upon which it is based often feel weird, threatening, and scary. They make us feel insecure, because our cognitive tool for staying in control of our wellbeing has a glitch in it. When you’re talking about a species that has been consistently patterned towards its own destruction, though, a disruption of patterns is a good thing. Our ecocidal, warmongering tendencies have brought us to a point that now has us staring down the barrel of our own extinction, and that is where we are surely headed if we continue patterning along the behavioral trajectory that we have been on. Only a drastic change of patterns can change that trajectory. And we are seeing a change of patterns. This great unpatterning is going to continue, in many wild and unexpected ways. And things are going to keep getting stranger.  All of humanity’s problems are the result of our collective conditioning patterns throughout history. Where there is pattern disruption, there is the opportunity for pattern divergence. Where there is movement, there are gaps. Where there are gaps, there is an opportunity for light to get through. The clear-eyed rebel’s job, therefore, is to watch for opportunities to help lead us as a collective along a brand new, healthy trajectory. https://bit.ly/3cWAeYf

This is an extract from an article entitled The Great Unpatterning Continues - Make Sure You Take Advantage Of It by Caitlin Johnstone based in Melbourne, Australia. Here we intend to show how a sensitive writer can be inspired by the zeitgeist of the times and display the ability to act as a mouthpiece for the revelation of a transcendent will and truth determining future action.

Astrologers have long recognized that eclipses tend to bring about endings and new beginnings. They offer a time to resynchronize our selves with the ever-changing cosmic currents supporting our evolutionary progression in consciousness. The nature of the effect that eclipses have is a function of the star alignments and other aspecting planets occurring at the time of the eclipse. While an eclipse is worldwide in scope, its effect is more prominently felt at places where it aligns with the horizon or merdian.

The  lunar eclipse of July 17, 2019 fell on the horizon axis at Melbourne, Australia, implying that it was significant for the place.  Since we are not separate from the greater heavens, from the stars and planets around us, or from our beloved Earth, but are intimate parts of this dynamic, continually unfolding heavenly symphony, sensitive writers like Caitlin Johnstone are able to sense the message of the eclipse.

So what then was the message of the eclipse. First and foremost, the eclipse at [24cp] was conjunct the South Node and Saturn-Pluto in Capricorn. The south node reflects unresolved issues, damage, and tragedy from prior life times – karma that has “ripened” in this lifetime and is thus surely going to manifest. Meanwhile, the north node is always “the remedy.” That is, it represents the most efficient pathway toward the resolution of the karmic tangle.

Pluto is one of the most powerful planets in our solar system. He is the ruler of the subconscious, he brings forth everything that is dark into light. Pluto is a pattern disrupter and deprogrammer. Its transit through Capricorn is serving to draw back the curtain until the flaws, failings, and destructiveness of the institutions  become so obvious, they can no longer be ignored. With Pluto conjoining the South Node in Capricorn we are being pressed to detach from and discard antiquated structures of consciousness, ingrained behavioral patterns, and outdated societal structures so we can emerge  to evolve and implement structures that serve our higher visions and ideals. In its diminished expression, Saturn in Capricorn can be controlling, oppressive, righteous, jealous and fearful of change and intimacy, which instead must be controlled—all based in "judgment"… stemming from unconsciously internalized social rules. The liability of conformity to societal rules can come with a high price tag. There are many people living tragic lives because they have been taught to believe that there is no other way for them to exist. The North Node in Cancer is asking us to nurture ourselves by paying attention to our emotional needs even if they go against societal rules that have enslaved us.

Further information about the eclipse is gleaned from the stars that form the backdrop to the eclipse Moon-S.Node. As we mentioned before the South Node of the Moon symbolizes past patterns of behavior that have outlived their usefulness and need to be discarded. Here the South Node is conjunct Saturn-Pluto amid stars of the Archer and the Eagle both easily recognizable symbols of war.

"As for the Archer, when the foremost portion of his cloak rises, he will give birth to hearts renowned in war and will conduct the conqueror, celebrating great triumphs in the sight of all, to his country's citadels." [Manilius, Astronomica, 1st century AD, book 4, p.267]

But why is Caitlin Johnstone (based in Melbourne, Australia) responding to the progressive soul urges of the eclipse now? Well there is a rule in astrology which states that an eclipse can be activated well before or after its actual occurrence by the movement of a planet over the eclipse degree….and that is happening right now with Pluto transiting over the eclipse Moon.
