Donald Trump said he’s concerned oil prices have fallen too far and called
Vladimir Putin on Monday to discuss Russia’s oil-price war with Saudi Arabia.

In a previous post [1], I discussed (a) the synastry between
Putin and the US Sibly (b) a minor 2 ½ degree per year progression of the US
Sibly Sun (c) the current Neptune transit all focusing on the radix US Sibly
Neptune [22Virgo] and Mars [22gem] square. In a natal/ radix chart, Neptune-Mars can
describe the ideal or illusion or fantasy (Neptune) of strength and potency
(Mars). People may feel extremely vulnerable and weak (Neptune) afraid of being
attacked (Mars) when the combination is triggered. And since Neptune rules oil,
it is not surprising that the vulnerability of the US oil industry has been
exposed.

What is a Davison relationship chart?
The Davison relationship
chart [DRC] was named for Ronald C. Davison (1914-1985), author and president
of the Astrological Lodge of the Theosophical Society of London. The date and time can be determined by
calculating the day that lies exactly between the natal charts of those
involved. The same principle is also applied to the times of birth. If the
individuals involved have different places of birth a combined "place of
birth" is calculated by taking the average values of latitude and
longitude.Even if the combined place of birth is located in the middle of the
Pacific Ocean, the DRC is still a concrete horoscope for a specific time,
place, and location which can, like any natal chart, be used as a basis to

Based on this data the Davison
Relationship Chart (DRC) is shown here. For the DRC, we currently have solar
arc Pluto opposite radix Sun. (Notice
that the Trump-Putin conversation takes place on the very day that transit Sun
returns to its radix position …triggering the Pluto – Sun directed opposition.)
Pluto breaks through illusions, in search of the utter
truth. These are not Saturn truths where we see things for what they are in a
mundane or material sense. Pluto probes much deeper, shining light on our
darkness. Pluto offers us the chance to
evolve and to rebirth. It acts to strip away what is unnecessary or superficial
in our lives.

Martha Wescott provides the following interpretations:
BACCHUS or DIONYSUS: Excess;
addiction; attempts to manage feelings, people and situations through
substitution or avoidance; contact with orchards, pine and fir trees,
vineyards; intoxication.
HEBE: Service
personnel (waitresses, secretaries, receptionists, bartenders, etc.;) service
attitudes; waiting-on others; enabling (facilitating the egocentric,
emotionally immature or demanding behaviors of others); codependency. In mythology one of her roles was to be the
cupbearer to the gods, serving them ambrosia and nectar.
CHILD: Aspect
pattern relates to one’s own experience as a child and to attitudes toward and
events with children; childish reactions (ranging from innocence to
immaturity.)
PLUTO: Urge for dominance; control needs;
psychological power; emotional taffy in
relationships; compulsions; pushed to Authenticity; a person's "bottom
line" (and primitive defenses;) the phoenix potential; interest in sex,
death, taxes, legacies, loans & investment income; encountering what is
beyond control; Higher Will; elimination of the unnecessary; major change.
Dionysus/Hebe
Themes associated with ADDICTION and CO-DEPENDENCY will
be rampant! You may see that, for some folks, part of their
ADDICTION is in being 'way too tolerant
of the destructive behaviors of others.
There may be events associated
with actual bartenders, but think here of "serving drinks" as a metaphor for cooperating
and enabling behaviors that are facets
of denial, emotional dishonesty, substitution and immaturity. The ways in which "it takes two to
tango" in connection with compulsion
and addiction will be all too clear...all too often... (or so it is hoped now that I've mentioned it.)
Hebe/Pluto
For too long people
may have got othersto serve their interests, to support the unsupportable, to accept the
unacceptable.
Dionysus/Pluto
Among the insights you could have with this, are those
that deal with how effective an
addiction cycle has been in teaching one about
releasing control attempts. People may "bottom out" with an addiction; they may reach that
crucial "surrender" and see that they
are powerless over whatever they perceive to have a hold on them.
No commentary is required…whose addiction is relevant
here….and who has been the enabler so far. Pluto ensures that the childish
behavior will no longer be tolerated and must end!
