The Great Square of Pegasus

The current  New Moon conjoins the Centaur Chiron amid the stars of the Great Square of Pegasus which sets the theme for this lunar cycle, and which propels us into a deep cathartic healing journey. Recall that Pegasus is the magical flying horse that lifts Perseus and Andromeda above the clutches of the sea monster Cetus. Cetus can be thought of as all mental and physical ailments that afflict mankind.  In our present context that would be the Coronavirus. The effect of the Coronavirus is not limited to just the physical health of humanity but also includes the financial devastation experienced worldwide.

In a previous post [1] on the Coronavirus, I explained how the stars around 24 Capricorn have been historically linked to epidemics and plagues. This area was activated by the July 17, 2019 lunar eclipse. With a Jupiter-Pluto-Pallas conjunction now occurring at 24 Capricorn, the eclipse is once again active.

Jupiter  tends to magnify and accelerate Pluto's catabolic deconstruction process and perhaps events already occurring. It will also tend to magnify societal disparity issues due to Pallas conjoining Jupiter and Pluto, as well as impelling a detailed focus upon issues and patterns that we need to address in society. But Pallas has another role that is best understood by examining its orbital parameters. The North Node of Pallas is at [23vi] while its Perihelion is at [9le]. The Perihelion is amid stars of Praesepe which impel us to leave behind our old belief systems and graduate into a new consciousness. Meanwhile the North Node is conjunct the stars Denebola and Alkes. These stars require discernment to see the way to fulfillment in our lives. They inspire us to see the difference between those that dictate life and attempt to control from those that seek to use their influence to empower others—the people. The question they ask us to address: Are we living true to creating a higher path that is truly nurturing or are we acquiescing to the dictates of a crumbling old paradigm or personal modality.
