The Sun in Cancer continues to oppose Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto in Capricorn, and as the Sun shines its bright light onto that pernicious aggregation of planets, its rays illuminate even more about the deconstruction of individual and collective systems. On July 21, a New Moon opposes Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto bringing the energies of these powerful planets to a focus.
The sign Capricorn can be symbolically related to a rock
that has formed over a long period of time. On a collective as well as
individual level, the conditioning patterns and the realities it has created
have crystallized to such a degree that consciousness is primarily resistant
and largely impenetrable.
Change then is a
threatening prospect that Capricorn fears. This forms the root-cause behind
Capricorn’s anxiousness to maintain the status quo and to resist change. Therefore,
when the Capricorn archetype is animated by transit, a new level of
preservation is ignited, which results in intensified action directed to
re-secure control.
Self-preserving, fear-based, and resistant Capricorn is
prone to the employment of lock-down remedies that will recycle and prolong
struggle. The result leads to added suffering, loss, and depletion that
perpetuates more “death”, rather than create fresh life.
When that which Capricorn has held in check, (i.e. that
which it has regulated, contained, guarded, inhibited, suppressed, or resisted)
is released, it is done with great force. Rage, anger, frustration, and
aggression can heat to the boil-over point, the result of which can ignite a
particularly merciless episode of man’s crimes against man, and against
humanity too. Brutality, ruthlessness, violence, crime and war can run rampant
in such desperate times.
The New Moon of July 21 opposite Saturn, Jupiter and Pluto will
bring to our attention a variety of events all of which contain the seed of the
birth of a new order. Saturn Pluto alignments represent the need for deep
changes in the structure of society and how we use power. The old order is being
destroyed and a new one is being born,
and that means we have to accept events that mark the birth pangs of a new era.
Unfortunately, there aren’t many leaders who appear capable of handling the
pressure. Most seem more interested in clinging to power for its own sake. Some
are crazy enough to ignite another war, but whatever the scenario, it can only
end in their destruction.
Nations whose charts that are affected by the Saturn,
Jupiter, Pluto conjunction are likely to go through major upheavals. Israel [1],
Saudi Arabia [2] and the US [3] are among those that come to mind. The New Moon falls opposite the US Sibly Pluto,
on the MC of Israel’s chart and the descendant of the Saudi chart.
On an individual level those who have been working to overcome
their deepest weaknesses are likely to rewarded.
