History in the stars: Remembering President Roosevelt

The first inauguration of Franklin D. Roosevelt as the 32nd President of the United States was held on Saturday, March 4, 1933, at the East Portico of the United States Capitol in Washington, D.C. This was the 37th inauguration marked the commencement of the first term of Franklin D. Roosevelt as President.

Addressing himself to the causes of the economic crisis and its moral dimensions, Roosevelt placed blame squarely on the greed and shortsightedness of bankers and businessmen, as seen in the following excerpts:

...rulers of the exchange of mankind's goods have failed through their own stubbornness and their own incompetence, have admitted their failure, and have abdicated. Practices of the unscrupulous money changers stand indicted in the court of public opinion, rejected by the hearts and minds of men.

The money changers have fled from their high seats in the temple of our civilization. We may now restore that temple to the ancient truths. The measure of the restoration lies in the extent to which we apply social values more noble than mere monetary profit.

Franklin D. Roosevelt was born 30 Jan. 1882; 8:45 pm; Hyde Park, NY [1]. His Ascendant [23vi] lies in the area of  the Tail of the Lion and the Tail of the Great Bear. It conjoins Alkes of Crateris and Avior Carina of Argo Navis. Also of influence here are Denebola of Leo, Cor Caroli of Canes Venatici and Benetnasch, the tail of the Great Bear, lying just across the sidereal Virgo cusp .

Benatnash articulates the administrative aspects of governments and big-business political-religious figureheads. The Arabic name for Benetnasch is Alkaid, which means "the leader." Benetnasch teaches us that leadership is about facilitating the self-empowerment and freedom of others rather than about exerting manipulative force that controls others, mistaken as leadership and being in a position of power.

Curiously conjoining Benatnash, also at the Leo-Virgo cusp and lying south of the ecliptic, below the egoic stage setting of late sidereal Leo, is Alkes of Crateris, the cup of salvation, the golden chalice. Here we find the way, the greater spiritual fulfillment that we seek lying silently submerged under the diversionary shenanigans perpetuated by the puppet-masters directing the global stage. Most of Crateris expresses through early sidereal Virgo, but Alkes is first star of significance. Alkes means “the wine cup.”

The mixed theme here at the cusp can indicate either genuinely wise figures or leaders, or hot–air wanna–be guru types—those spouting a lot of self important head tripping principles but without any real substance or true wisdom. The issue of discernment arises, which is required to see the illusionists from those of real spiritual and moral value; and to find the real truth hidden beneath the drama—to grasp the grail of Alkes.[2]

This would appear to accurately describe President Roosevelt and his efforts to create a new world order free from control of greedy bankers. Once liberated from the shackles of the central banks, FDR and his allies were able to start a genuine recovery by restoring confidence in banking. From 1933-1939, 45 000 infrastructure projects were built. The many “local” projects were governed, like China’s Belt and Road Initiative today, under a “grand design” which FDR termed the “Four Quarters”.. Four million people were given immediate work, and hundreds of libraries, schools and hospitals were built and staffed.

And finally we note that on 11 March 1933, just a week after his inauguration, a lunar eclipse [21vi05] fell right on the President’s Ascendant [23vi] as if confirming that he had a mandate from heaven! Moreover, empowering Saturn [12aq] was conjunct his radix Sun [11aq] exactly on the IC of the lunar eclipse chart at Washington DC!! Roosevelt’s Sun and transit Saturn were placed amid the stars of the humanitarian Water Bearer of Aquarius.
