Boris Johnson finally calls the EU bluff

It finally looks like the four-and-a-half-year saga of Brexit is coming to an ignominious end. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson called the final bluff of the incompetent bureaucrats in Brussels, walking away from trade talks while leaving the door open. The EU played hardball giving zero ground for four years while undermining the UK from within its own political and bureaucratic structures. It was as transparent as it was cynical, but it couldn’t sway the British people and that gave Johnson the political will to just say no. And it was this hardball negotiating stance that had worked in the past finally broke like waves along the Cliffs of Dover. The reason why it failed was that arrogance was fueled by powerful forces having their back. They believed in the power of coercion being stronger than the will of the British people. https://www.strategic-culture.org/news/2020/10/24/more-eu-tightens-its-grip-more-countries-slip-through-its-fingers/

Regular readers of my blogposts will immediately recognize the news as just one more example of the on going planetary drama in the skies.  Mars is powerful in its own sign, Aries,  as it turns retrograde, and squares both Saturn and Pluto, three times.  The stage is set in 2020 for a push-back against the authoritarian forces that have been growing in the world. Whatever has too much power is being challenged. The experience of tyranny, the corruption of money, the obliteration of individual freedom, are all part of this cycle.   Certain aspects of the collective and individual psyche have become top-heavy, overgrown and dangerous both for society, and for the people in it.

Presented here is the current lunar return chart (relocated to London) for Boris Johnson [1]. Notice the Mars square Saturn-Pluto placed on the angles.  This is what is giving Boris Johnson the courage to say “no” to the EU.

Mars in Aries is synonymous with strong warrior energy, preferring to go solo and be independent. It displays a keen sense of individual need and is willing to fight any authority opposing it. Success is not guaranteed, but Mars strength in its own sign will give power to challengers, and  hope to insurgents.
