Vice
President Mike Pence has backed the plan by a group of Republicans led by Ted
Cruz to raise objections to formalizing Democrat Joe Biden’s victory when
Congress meets on January 6, according to his chief of staff.
“The
Vice President welcomes the efforts of members of the House and Senate to use
the authority they have under the law to raise objections and bring forward
evidence before the Congress and the American people on January 6th,” the
