America’s bald eagle population quadruples

The population of bald eagles in the lower 48 states of the US has quadrupled to more than 316,000 federal wildlife officials say. The population was once on the verge of extinction but a new survey by the US Fish and Wildlife Service found more than 70,000 breeding pairs of the iconic bird. In mundane astrology, the ingress of a planet  into a new sign is an important event. Astrologers routinely cast the map for such events keeping an eye for places where the planet aligns with the angles. On Dec. 19, 2020, Jupiter moved into Aquarius but more specifically conjoined the stars of Aquila the Eagle. At Washington,DC, it formed an exact T-square with the meridian. With Jupiter’s association with good health and regeneration, is it surprising that the bald eagle is making a major recovery in the US.

The news of the survey by the  US Fish and Wildlife Service comes to us on March 26. If we now progress the ingress chart to March 26, notice that Jupiter reaches the upper meridian and is thereby triggered.

There are no loose ends in a horoscope. Often something that we consider unimportant may reinforce a central theme adding prominence to it. Here Jupiter makes a minor semi-square aspect to Neptune which is placed amid the stars of the Phoenix – the mythical bird that rises from its ashes!
