of what appears to be a hovering ship have been captured as the result of a
rare optical illusion off the coast of England. David Morris took a photo of
the ship near Falmouth, Cornwall. BBC meteorologist David Braine said the
"superior mirage" occurred because of "special atmospheric
conditions that bend light". Mar. 7

With its connection to deception, Neptune is connected to “mirages”
or appearances that belie reality. The essential meaning of appearance is
simply the form in which we are able to perceive something. Modern science recognizes that what we personally cognate as
the external world is actually the product of an interaction between that world
and the projection of our subconscious.
Of all planets
Neptune is adept at undermining things from within. In the material world he
causes things to decay. And on the spiritual level he will eat away at
everything we believe in by discrediting and casting doubt on all that we hold
to be true and sacred. But Neptune cannot undermine if he did not at the same time hold before us
some ideal to be contrasted with its faulty reality. If a true reality is to be
appreciated and outwardly realized then a false reality must be shown up for
what it is. When we truly come to understand Neptune, we may find that he is
actually the revealer of reality.
Presented here is the chart for the upcoming Sun-Neptune
conjunction drawn for Falmouth, UK where it is significantly placed on the IC
(lower meridian) forming a T-square with
the nodes.
In Greek mythology, the Sun was Apollo, the god of logic, and reason. So it is not surprising that a scientific explanation has been provided for the “mirage”. But that is not all. On the MC (upper meridian) of the chart is lambda (λ) Vela, Alsuhail, a star in the Sails of Argo Navis, the Great Ship!
If we remember astrology sees all of reality as symbolic in nature, then might the uncovering of one illusion be a signal that several other false beliefs might be undermined in the coming days.
