The Fall of Phaethon

The Fall of Phaethon by Peter Paul Reubens (1605)

The Chiemgau impact in Bavarian Germany stands out as particularly sympathetic crater martyr. The evidence for a euro-apocalypse is sincerely published and well established as a legitimate hypothesis based on decades of meticulous fieldwork, but entirely ignored because it happened relatively recently in geological terms. The coolest thing about the Chiemgau impact is how it supports a most ancient story concerning the god Phaethon, who crossed the sky in a day. Jun 17 https://cosmictusk.com/oldie-but-goodie/

The events in our lives are connected by an intricate chain of linked analogies and astrology offers a way to see these connections. The  Chiemgau impact  is believed to have created Tüttensee -  a small lake in the Bavarian Alpine foothills. Presented here is the sidereal Aries ingress at the co-ordinates of the Lake progressed to June 17, the date of the article. Here, in a strange coincidence, the Sun conjunct the asteroid Phaethon is part of a dynamic T-square containing Pluto-Zeus.

Astrologers have long recognized that images that resonate with the current planetary climate are more likely to make it to the news. To this end, the system is constantly asking us to become co-creators with the cosmic powers behind the manifest world and will choose people and events to bring its message out.

So what might this planetary configuration be trying to tell us? For one thing let us remember that the myth of Phaethon is essentially a warning – an inability to harness great power and energy can lead to disaster. Pluto is  the energy or power to make radical changes. A volcanic eruption is a symbol of Pluto at work, perhaps in a destructive sense but now combine that with the TNP Zeus. Martha Wescott writes, “Zeus demands that one take careful aim while doing Pluto as it is all too easy to take the buckshot or scatter gun approach and spray control needs, eruptions and resentments”.

PHAETHON: Instances that involve cars, transport, driving; other forms of recklessness—feeling out of control—as though you’ve taken on more than you can handle; having trouble keeping to the middle of the road! [1]

ZEUS: Restrained or creative fire/energy; enthusiasm; controlled & directed forces (thus both planning and controlling strong emotions;) guns, power tools, machines, motors, fireplaces, fuels; excitement; to incite; military; blood pressure; inflammation; ability to harness energies for accomplishment.[1]
