Astrology of the shooting at National Parks Stadium

 

Shots were fired outside the Nationals Park baseball stadium in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, injuring at least four people and causing some people in the audience to flee, officials and witnesses say. The game will resume on Sunday. It happened just after 9:30 p.m. when gunfire was heard in the bottom of the 6th inning between the Washington Nationals and the San Diego Padres. In yesterday’s blog I posted the chart for the First Quarter Moon of July 17 at Washington DC. With the Sun – Moon –Pluto forming a T-square aligned with the horizon, the potential for violence is obvious.  But more details emerge if we examine the chart in hindsight. First, with Scorpio on the cusp of the 5^th house, Pluto is its ruler. The 5^th house  rules “all public places of enjoyment and recreation, parks etc.”[1]. Next look at the Sabian symbol for the MC [12ar00]. Dane Rudhyar’s interpretation is:

PHASE 13 (ARIES 13°): AN UNEXPLODED BOMB REVEALS AN UNSUCCESSFUL SOCIAL PROTEST.

KEYNOTE: An immature evaluation of the possibility of transforming suddenly the status quo.

The symbol pictures the result of a particular attempt to resolve the conflict between two concept-feelings of order. Resolution by violence fails because the ego-power at this stage of the process of individualization is far too strong. "The State" thwarts attempts at popular revolution, because these are premature expressions of a consciousness which is not free, but can only react "wildly" to constraint and to a central ruling power. It is thus a symbol of immature refusal to conform, in the name of an over-idealistic desire for harmony and peace. This is the third stage of the third five-fold sequence. A negative attempt at reconciling the spiritual ideal and the very earthly reality, denying the validity of the latter. It suggests ADOLESCENT FRUSTRATION.

Finally look at the chart for the time of the shooting. Notice that the Saturn-Uranus square is aligned with the horizon. Recall that the square between Saturn and Uranus is  the defining astrological theme of 2021. Astrological "squares" are known for creating tension between two points — and with this one involving Saturn, the Planet of Rules and Boundaries, and Uranus, the Planet of Freedom and Rebellion, an act of violence meant to destabilize the status quo is easily understandable.

But  it is important to understand  that the shooting could not have been predicted because the relevant  charts symbolize  several possibilities, of course with the incident as one possibility [2].
