Robert
Koch was a German physician and the founder of modern bacteriology, known for
his role in identifying the specific causative agents of tuberculosis, cholera,
and anthrax and for giving experimental support for the concept of infectious
disease. In addition to his innovative studies on these diseases, Koch created
and improved laboratory technologies and techniques in the field of
microbiology, and made key discoveries in public health. Based on his work, the
standard for identifying a virus has become known as the Koch Postulates.
The
horoscope of Dr. Koch as provided by Astro-Databank [1] is reproduced here. Notice that his natal Sun [18sa] is conjunct
the star Ras Alhague, alpha Ophiuchus – the constellation of the healer or
medicine man. Next our attention is
drawn to the radix Saturn [23cp] square Pluto [21ar] since the Jan 2020
Saturn-Pluto conjunction took place conjunct his Saturn.
In
a natal chart, Pluto conjunct, square or opposition Saturn is sometimes
associated with major accomplishments, even fame. In its positive expression, Pluto empowers
Saturnian structure, discipline and ambition to the extreme, making
record-breaking feats possible.
In many cases, transit Pluto conjunct natal
Saturn is often associated with a threat of loss of reputation but it could
also be a period that forces you to dig deeper to find your internal resources that
opens the way for a new beginning once the formidable challenge is defeated.
While
Dr. Koch may no longer be alive, his modern disciples, who swear by the Koch Postulates, are proving against great odds that COVID-19 is not a virus.
Here
are some more insights that we can glean from Dr. Koch’s horoscope. Notice that
the Ascendant [20vi] is trine Saturn [23cp] and quincunx Pluto [21ar].

thus:
Denebola, Beta Leo; Alpha
Antilia, of the air pump, Avior of Carina, Argo Navis; and Alkes of Crateris,

sidereal Leo, creating a diverse polarity of energies that set Leo's back
stage. Alkes / Crateris is the "the Golden Chalice," the "Cup of
Salvation" while Denebola is of a foul breeze, indicative of smoke screens
and diversions. Denebola, along with earlier Zosma and Chort, create the hind
of the lion. This area of the Leo is of those behind the scenes, of the
political figures manipulating the affairs of the world.
The
Golden Chalice in this case refers to the Koch Postulates which have stood the
test of time at identifying viruses and of course the foul breeze and smoke
screen is coming from the establishment figures connected to Big Pharma with an
axe to grind.
Finally
we note that transit Neptune has been hovering on Dr. Koch’s descendant [20pi]
while squaring his radix Sun.
Of all planets Neptune is
adept at undermining things from within. In the material world he causes things
to decay. And on the spiritual level he will eat away at everything we believe
in by discrediting and casting doubt on all that we hold to be true and sacred.
But Neptune cannot undermine if he did
not at the same time hold before us some ideal to be contrasted with its faulty
reality. If a true reality is to be appreciated and outwardly realized then a
false reality must be shown up for what it is. When we truly come to understand
Neptune, we may find that he is actually the revealer of reality.[2]
