Pegasus: Spyware sold to governments 'targets activists'

Rights activists, journalists and lawyers around the world have been targeted with phone malware sold to authoritarian governments by an Israeli surveillance firm, media reports say. https://www.bbc.com/news/technology-57881364

Pegasus is spyware that can be covertly installed on mobile phones .  It was developed by the Israeli cyberarms firm NSO Group. Ironically, the  spyware is named after the mythical winged horse Pegasus which lifted Andromeda  above and beyond the reach of Cetus, the sea-monster symbolic of the controlling and devouring power of government and bureaucracy in general.

To understand why the  Israeli company NSO, based in Tel Aviv,  is being exposed now, we take a look at the chart for the First Quarter Moon. Notice the Sun-Moon-Pluto T-square aligned with the angles.  Remember that Pluto is in Capricorn and that the Capricorn archetype is primarily linked to governments and those in power. The threat of losing control incites the Capricorn consciousness. This forms the root-cause behind Capricorn’s anxiousness to maintain the status quo and to resist change. To lose control is to enter into the realm of chaos -  a threatening prospect that Capricorn fears.

With Pluto in Capricorn, governments may  initially misuse power  to spy on citizens.  But eventually,  Pluto’s transit through Capricorn serves to draw back the curtain until the flaws, failings, and destructiveness of the system become so obvious, they can no longer be ignored. The exposure of misuse of power  serves to generate the necessary awareness in the masses.  

The  FQ Moon on the ascendant is conjunct the stars Spica, alpha Virgo and Arcturus, alpha Bootes (24li). Boötes depicted standing over the Virgin, is the Virgin's consort and protector. In essence Bootes is protecting the Virgin – a symbol of innocent humanity – against corrupt and fallen powers.
