Astrology of NATO’s ‘cognitive warfare’

 

NATO is developing new forms of warfare to wage a “battle for the brain,” as the military alliance put it. The US-led NATO military cartel has tested novel modes of hybrid warfare against its self-declared adversaries, including economic warfare, cyber warfare, information warfare, and psychological warfare. The horoscope of NATO is drawn for  24 August 1949; 11:42 am EDT, Washington, DC,  when the treaty came into force after the deposition of the ratifications of all signatory states.  For the purpose of the news, in this post, I intend to first discuss Mars in the 9^th house opposite Jupiter in the 3^rd  (as part of a more complex configuration Grand Cross involving the Nodes, Neptune, Poseidon, Admetus).

The 3^rd house rules our rational brain, the cognitive mind that analyzes information while the 9^th is the belief systems that we eventually form. A nefarious agenda can manipulate people to gather the facts (3^rd) and then draw the wrong conclusions that become the basis for our beliefs (9^th).

The 12^th is the house of the collective psyche that is unconscious – the source of all manner of affliction and self-undoing (secret enemies)  often as a result of openness to manipulation. With  TNP Poseidon, Neptune and the South Node in the 12^th squaring the Mars-Jupiter opposition, we can see how anyone using this combination can think of a “battle (Mars) for the brain”.

But why now? Well, Pluto in transit has just stationed on radix Jupiter [23cp] triggered by transiting Sun and Mars from the 12^th.  Ebertin interprets Jupiter-Pluto as “desire for power (plutocracy)”.
