Conservative MP has died after being stabbed “several times" as he held a
meeting at a Methodist church in his constituency of Southend West. Police have
been deployed to the area in considerable numbers. On Friday, a man ran into
the Belfairs Methodist Church in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, where Conservative MP Sir
David Amess was holding his constituency surgery. The man proceeded to attack
the MP, who was stabbed “several times.”

Events on Earth closely follow the planets. They occur when a powerful accumulation of astrological energy in various individual or mundane charts breaks through the existing environmental resistance.
We are now entering a period when both the Sun and Mars form square aspects to Pluto. Since ancient times, astrologers have observed that prominent public figures are usually the victims of such major planetary alignments. The horoscope of David Amess as provided by Astro-Databank [1] is reproduced here. Notice that his radix Sun makes hard aspects to the Mars-Pluto square which is aligned with the meridian. Using the Ascendant arc progression [2] brings the MC to a conjunction with the radix Sun triggering the Sun-Mars-Pluto combination.
Mars and Pluto obey the powers of earth and underworld rather than heaven. A cerebral or spiritual type of person finds the planets uncomfortable. Understandably there is often a deep fear of the more primitive urges represented by Mars-Pluto aspects – sexuality, anger, rage, fury, hate, violence etc.
The violence and passion of Ares are frightening to the civilised ego, and are easily cut off and repressed. When the pressure of the repressed contents have built up to a dangerous level, the civilized person invites into his life an event which can be likened to an erupting volcano.

Mars-Pluto seems to appear in many people's dreams as a black man . This is no doubt a symbol appropriate only to our predominantly white Western culture. This figure of the black man was also a favourite of the alchemists, who called him the Ethiopian and believed him to be the prima materia, the crude stuff of life upon which the alchemical work was performed.
According to the BBC [3] , the 25 year old man who has been arrested for the murder is a British national of Somalian heritage! Coincidence?
