Last Friday, (Oct.8) Southwest Airlines’ pilot union asked a court to temporarily block the airline’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate.  Since then, thousands of Southwest flights have been canceled, with the operational meltdown still continuing into this week. Southwest Airlines has blamed “weather problems and air traffic control issues,” but speculation is churning that the real cause is a pilot strike over the recent vaccine mandates for the company.

The incredible cruelty and folly of forced vaccines finally came home to roost. The vaccine mandate backlash has been bubbling just under the surface, but now it has spilled out into the open, threatening to completely derail an already crumbling economy and to obliterate a deeply unpopular U.S. president and administration. In mundane astrology, the cardinal ingresses of the Sun (entry into the  four cardinal signs i.e. 00 deg of Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn ) have a traditional reputation as important mundane events. In ancient mythology, Mercury was the god of travel and often depicted flying through the air with winged sandals (see image).  In the current context, combine this  with Pluto’s  keywords “manipulation, control issues and power struggles” we can see why the forced vaccine mandate is threatening the airline.

The ultimate test of Pluto transits is to maintain integrity in the face of fateful circumstances which are symbolically related to disintegration, death and renewal. Pluto requires that one descend into the deepest recesses of one's soul, to stand alone and find integrity, value and security in that isolation. It is virtually impossible to sustain a fantasy or live in an illusion during repeated Pluto transits. Erin Sullivan 

Pluto was retrograde in the ingress chart about to station direct on Oct.6 when all hell broke loose.  In a previous post, I wrote:

…the Sep.21 Full Moon the  draconic positions of the luminaries were Sun [24cn] – Moon [24cp].  Therefore the draconic Full Moon is activating tropical Pluto which has been hovering around 24 – 26 cp for most of the year. This means that all radix, directed and mundane charts which have Pluto [24-26cp] in a significant position would get a major push from the Full Moon giving rise to radical events.[1]
