Uranus in Taurus
The
collapse of Evergrande, the world's most indebted corporation, is considered
the largest business default in Chinese history, and reportedly might
eventually lead to a "Great Reset," or the global financial system's
catastrophic implosion. https://bit.ly/3D5FRjv
Eclipses have an uncanny way of telling us what is likely to happen. The upcoming solar eclipse of Dec. 4th is in Sagittarius – a sign that helps us take risks and big leaps of faith. But the danger is that we can bite off more than we can chew. Under this sign’s influence, we need to know our limits. Drawn for Shenzhen, where Evergrande is headquartered, the eclipse is placed in the 8th house which rules bankruptcy [1].
Going further we look at the planets Uranus in Taurus on the Ascendant making a mundane square with Pluto (on the MC) which is itself semi-square the eclipse. For Ebertin, the keyword for Uranus-Pluto is “collapse”. As an Earth sign, Taurus is ruled by Venus and represents values. From a practical point of view, it is about assets, material possessions, capital, properties, all type of belongings which bring stability and security including basic needs like food. The last time Uranus was in the sign of Taurus was between 1935 to 1942 i.e. during the Great Depression that followed the 1929 crash. In that context, it is understandable that the Taurean themes were brought to the front. The collapse of the real estate market, the devaluation of currencies etc.
How does astrology predict the future? By drawing on the past. Astrological time is circular. It’s not linear. Astrologers know history repeats. Everytime Uranus comes back to a sign, it is the same principle, but different context.
