Facebook admits ‘fact checks’ are opinions

Fog clears revealing landscape (Painting: Song Dynasty)

As we have previously reported, journalist John Stossel is suing Facebook after Facebook’s ‘fact checkers’ labeled climate change information that Stossel posted as “false and misleading”. In the middle of all this is the nefarious website “Climate Feedback” which has a bunch of climate zealots that write up what they claim are “fact checks” for articles, videos, and news stories they disagree with. Facebook just blew the “fact check” claim right out of the water in court. https://bit.ly/3F4DUot

Facebook, an American online social media and social networking service was founded in February 4, 2004 in Cambridge, Massachusetts. A noon chart for this date can serve as the birthchart for the organization. Notice the prominent Sun-Neptune conjunction square the nodal axis. Transit Saturn is currently moving over the radix Sun-Neptune.

In a previous post Sun-Neptune synod: Unveiling of deceptions [1], I wrote:

With its connection to deception, Neptune is connected to “mirages” or appearances that belie reality. The essential meaning of appearance is simply the form in which we are able to perceive something. Modern science recognizes that what we personally cognate as the external world is actually the product of an interaction between that world and the projection of our subconscious.

Of all planets Neptune is adept at undermining things from within. In the material world he causes things to decay. And on the spiritual level he will eat away at everything we believe in by discrediting and casting doubt on all that we hold to be true and sacred. But Neptune cannot undermine if he did not at the same time hold before us some ideal to be contrasted with its faulty reality. If a true reality is to be appreciated and outwardly realized then a false reality must be shown up for what it is. When we truly come to understand Neptune, we may find that he is actually the revealer of reality.

When Saturn transits radix Neptune (as it is doing now) it brings the energies of discipline and judgment to balance Neptune’s imaginary and escapist leanings. This transit is about knowing the difference between fact and fiction. Neptune does not want to listen to Saturn, but it must. We may find ourselves in tense moments in which our escapism is brought to our awareness in the harsh light of day. When Saturn fights back it can reveal previously hidden information, clarify muddy waters and provide vital details. So that if we’ve been telling tales to ourselves or others or living a lie, we need to get ready for a reckoning.
