Ganymede abducted by Zeus
Ghislaine Maxwell has been found guilty of recruiting and trafficking young girls to be sexually abused by the late American financier Jeffrey Epstein. The most obvious transit is Saturn over radix Jupiter on the MC square Neptune. In a previous blogpost [2] on Ghislaine Maxwell, I wrote:
Jupiter represents a principle which encourages us to have optimism, hope, faith and trust in life. These are clearly positive qualities but not without their shadows which become all the more prominent when square Neptune as in Ghislane’s case. Expansive Jupiter and dreamy Neptune are two of the most idealistic and no-limits planets. A square aspect (90-degree angle) between these two giants is tension-filled. This cosmic clash stirs up confusion and delusion, snapping us out of denial with uncomfortable but necessary reality checks.
That reality check is now being provided by Saturn transit conjunct Jupiter. It can stop progress in its tracks, deflate hopeful bubbles, and generally put a spanner in the works of whatever you’re trying to achieve long-term.
Next we look at Maxwell’s current lunar return chart. As always planets on the angles are the ones to focus on. Here we have the Venus-Pluto conjunction on the IC. Recall that Pluto was the mythological god who had abducted Persephone (Venus) so that this combination is associated with sexual abuse and pedophilia. This is further emphasized by the fact that the stars that form the backdrop to the Venus-Pluto conjunction are those of Altair, the Eagle (a form of Zeus) which is depicted in mythology as abducting the youth Ganymede.
Finally notice that the December 4 solar eclipse not only aligned with the horizon at Maxwell’s birthplace but also with her radix horizon (Ascendant-Descendant) axis. Moreover on the very date of the news we have transit Mars [12sa] triggering the eclipse degree [12sa]. The following extracts from a previous post on the eclipse are relevant here [3]
The Sun and Moon are in a wide square to Neptune at the time of the eclipse, which could force us to face up to areas of our lives where we might be deceiving ourselves, exposing a blind spot or area of our life in which we have been deluded.
The past can never be forgotten until we have dealt with what we need to deal with fully and finally... A widow would normally expect to receive compassionate forgiveness, yet here she is being made aware of her forgotten transgressions, in a seemingly insensitive breach of etiquette. Nonetheless, just because the widow is sorrowing, does not mean she is free from accountability. This degree asks us to consider the extent to which we have a callous inclination to repudiate responsibility for what we have done – or if we are willing to integrate both failure and accomplishments into personal improvement.
A Yod eclipse can signify that this is the time to bring it all together, makeup for the mistakes, and pay back the karmic debt.
