The Centaur Elatus and the EU-Russia Relationship chart

Centaur Elatus

Western nations have rolled out a comprehensive sanctions campaign against Moscow since Russia launched its special military op in Ukraine. The European Union is working on the issue of getting rid of Russian energy supplies, European Commissioner for Internal Market Thierry Breton said. In 2021, Russia's imports to the EU amounted to about 45% of gas, 27% of crude oil, and 46% of coal, according to the European Commission. March 11 https://bit.ly/3tOhiUS

Before sanctioning Russia, cutting off or sharply restricting Russian gas supply, or pushing Russia closer to closing the spigot, the EU should have known that there is no alternative when it comes to natural gas for Europe.

There are times when a single horoscope brings out the turn of events in a way nothing else can. We are speaking of the EU-Russia Davison Relationship Chart. What is a Davison Relationship Chart? Please read about the DRC at this reference [1] Presented here is the DRC drawn for EU[2] and Russia [3]. The table below gives the current solar progressions of the DRC.

I think there will be some evaluation of risk factors associated with a separation or "doing a new thing." This may mean that you're aware of the "dangers" of being "on your own" (on some level). I guess I want to note that there may be situations where "being adventuresome" requires some departure from safety or familiarity....Martha Wescott

Elatus is a recently discovered centaur. It bears a perihelion in potentially macho Aries and its node intersects the ecliptic in late Gemini. Here, the intellect of Gemini should overrule the raw nature of Aries. But quite often it is just the reverse. About this Centaur Philip Sedgwick writes:

Elatus becomes an adversarial middleman of sorts in a mythological scenario. The effort to take care of a foe causes the wounding of a hero. It seemswith Elatus that every positive result contains a compromise of sorts, especially related to the aggressiveness suggested by the Aries perihelion. A sense of absolute urgency exists in all current confrontational situations making them appear combative. So, action is taken. But was the plan well thought as implied by the Gemini North Node? Apparently not. Initially, Elatus reminds us that during the passion and fervor of a new fight, care must be taken as to not end up shooting ourselves in the foot (as did Pholus). It is important to ensure that allies are not injured in any form in our efforts to handle the raging battle of life. Strategy comes to mind. Would it be worthwhile to contemplate the long term effects prior to initiating them? Absolutely. Final consequence requires conscious review prior to initial action.

Notice how elegantly, the DRC brings out how f EU sanctions against Russia actually ending up causing more harm to the EU rather than Russia.
