The phone call to the Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Wednesday by Israel’s alternate Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Yair Lapid adds to the tectonic shifts in the geopolitics of the Middle East of late. Lapid reached out to China within ten days of the visit by the US Secretary of State to Israel. The Chinese readout plays up the Israeli overture, quoting Lapid as making a strong pitch for the two countries who “understand and appreciate each other” to leverage their “strong innovation capacity” for “accelerating the modernisation process.” Lapid stated Israel’s interest in maintaining close high-level exchanges and deepening cooperation in various fields with China. https://www.globalresearch.ca/israel-reaches-out-china-again/5776862
The reasons behind many world events are often obscure, covered as they are by lies, deception or just diplomatic jargon. Mundane astrology offers a way to see through the fog. In the previous post I spoke about the current Jupiter-Neptune conjunction. I quoted Gray Crawford who writes:
The combination of Jupiter and Neptune in Pisces will necessitate a descent into the dissolution of our previous beliefs, embodying the essence that will eventually coagulate out of the disintegrating stirring of our inner life. As a result, the disorientation and disillusionment that can occur under the influence of Jupiter and Neptune must be kept in mind while also remembering their capacity for fostering hopes and aspirations that go beyond the conditioning of past identities and beliefs.
Presented here is the lunar return for the China-Israel [1][2] Davison Relationship chart. Notice the Jupiter-Neptune conjunction placed very significantly on the descendant. So can you see how “the dissolution of previous beliefs” and “the capacity for fostering hopes and aspirations that go beyond the conditioning of past identities and beliefs” is taking place?
To complete the picture, take a look at the synastry between Israel and the US Sibly. Readers would be aware that the Sibly is going through a Pluto return at [27cp]. This position squares the Israel Ascendant-Descendant axis (26li-26ar). In a previous post Will Japan remain a US vassal? [3], I mentioned Steven Forrest’s take on Pluto transit to the Ascendant-Descendant.
This transit challenges you to reveal who you really are and what you really want. It is a season of “unmasking”. Some false note has crept into your external, presented self. It may be an old lie, told for safety or convenience, that is now being unravelled. It may be that you’ve changed inwardly to the point that your old self is simply running on momentum…and the situation is becoming untenable. Should you make a weak response your behaviour will oscillate between numbness and apathy on the one hand and touchy defiance on the other. As your response evolves there may be a tendency towards brutal solutions. You may “nuke” a long-standing relationship. While we must recognize the virtue of working hard on relationships and sticking with them, we must also accept that sometimes alliances that have been meaningful and alive come to pieces where they are no longer consistent with who we are: a distinctly Plutonian truth.
By giving up on the US and moving towards China, is Israel in the early stages of nuking its relationship with the US? Just remember, Israel is not supporting the US in the Ukraine war.
