Iceberg disintegrating in storm at sea
The solar eclipse of April 30 is conjunct Uranus and semi-square Neptune bringing our attention to the Uranus-Neptune cycle that began in 1993 in Capricorn. Capricorn refers to the domination of all social activity by the state, organized religion, the corporations or other large institutions or even by some dominant personage (or nation). Neptune correlates with the “myth of the world”. What this means is that for each epoch of history, there are distinct attitudes and assumptions that permeate social customs. Uranus, meanwhile, promotes rebellion, innovation and individuation. So with this cycle, we see a new vision (Uranus) of the myth of the world (Neptune) passing through the familiar eight stages of development. From the initial conjunction, (slavery to institutions) we have now reached (2017-19) the 1st semi-square stage of this cycle. The new vision challenges the old , but without yet seeming substantial enough to be a threat to the pre-existing myth.[1]
Examples give us some idea of how the Uranus-Neptune energy (activated by the eclipse) is working in real life.
It is the height of irony that the biggest brand in storytelling, Disney, has succumbed to its own arrogance and self-delusion, becoming trapped in a false reality that Disney should dictate the direction humanity should accept.
That’s what lies at the heart of Disney’s troubles today. It arrogantly believed it has an obligation to decide what is and is not culturally acceptable to a majority of its customers. It completely misread the room in thinking a large percentage of its business comes from the insufferably woke suburban moms who are just as fucked up as the kids they’ve raised.
The good news is Disney got the message loud and clear that they are not the arbiters of when it’s appropriate to groom children for adulthood. The bad news is they may not have heard it.

Here is the chart for the eclipse at Disney World. Notice the Neptune leg of the eclipse-Uranus-Neptune combination placed significantly on the descendant accompanied by Jupiter/Venus. In an earlier post I quoted Gray Crawford on the Jupiter-Neptune conjunction.
The combination of Jupiter and Neptune in Pisces will necessitate a descent into the dissolution of our previous beliefs, embodying the essence that will eventually coagulate out of the disintegrating stirring of our inner life. As a result, the disorientation and disillusionment that can occur under the influence of Jupiter and Neptune must be kept in mind while also remembering their capacity for fostering hopes and aspirations that go beyond the conditioning of past identities and beliefs. Dane Rudhyar wrote that a key issue with Jupiter is the tendency for people to seek success through conformity with the expectations and rules of the present power structures, whereas the influence of Neptune may render a future form we may seek which transcends the problematic and oppressive aspects of the dominant cultures we live within.
The solar eclipse chart at Washington DC is essentially the same as that shown for Disney World with Neptune in Pisces on the descendant. There we are witnessing a collapse of the arrogant attitude of the exceptional nation born to rule the world that prevails among the US elite.
This is how Dane Rudhyar describes the Pisces phase:
The Christ-seed, which was activated at the winter solstice in the hidden depths of a world utterly dominated by social behavior and by the concept of the State, has now unfolded to the point where it has to be recognized by a society breaking down under the weight of its crystallizations. The once-powerful Empire is attacked from all sides by waves of destructive energy, by the rip-tide of Barbarian invasions. New blood is flowing into the old ruling classes, utterly transforming them. The proud "isolationists" are swept away when they refuse to link themselves up to the rising crest of the spring-to-be — as wintry icebergs are sent to liquid deaths by the equinoctial storms which rage through the Piscean period.
Pisces is an era of storms and of wholesale disintegration. But Piscean winds of destiny may impel men of vision and courage to discover many a "new world," as much as they do destroy or suffocate the many who stubbornly resist change. Pisces is an era of often sharp and violent repolarization. It is an era of purgation and cleansing.
