The Mars-Saturn Conjunction

Today we have a Mars-Saturn conjunction at [22aq]. . The conjunction began on March 27, is exact and separating on April 4, and persists until April 13. Mars-Saturn is a pernicious interaction that can easily tend toward violence as a way of solving differences, and while its energy can also be applied to dangerous situations that require extraordinary precision, managing such power requires finding a way to navigate an often grueling obstacle course. When not well handled, a hasty and impulsive Mars meets an unmovable object resulting in an accident or violence.

Readers can look for news that can serve as examples of the Mars-Saturn energy. Here are some that are I picked up:

Russia’s national chart [December 25, 1991; 17:20 UT; Moscow] has its descendant at [21aq] and Russia’s president Putin (b. October 7, 1952; 9:30 am; St. Petersburg) has his radix Pluto [22le] on the MC. Therefore, the Mars-Saturn conjunction [22aq] affects both these charts. The descendant (7th house) in a national chart symbilizes the nation’s enemies so that a Mars-Saturn conjunction there is essentialy war which may be an actual war on an economic war. With Putin and Russia now forcing the world to pay for their commodities in rubles, it appears that the ruble has recovered to its pre war dollar exchange value. In other words sanctions on Russia are not working and it is highly likely that we may we may be headed towards the demise of the dollar in international trade. So this serves as a great example of disciplined energy applied to a dangerous situation that finally comes out victorious.

Pakistan’s Imran Khan (b. October 5,1952) was born just two days before Putin’s birthday. He has overcome the no confidence vote in Parliament yesterday. While, the constitutionality of the speaker’s move to dissolve Parliament and call for fresh elections is debatable, it is also true that the combined opposition with the help of the US had been plotting to remove the PM [1]. The Mars-Saturn conjunction [22aq] is opposite both Imran’s Pluto and Pakistan’s radix Sun [20le]. In addition, Pakistan’s lunar return chart for April brings the conjunction to the MC.

A train accident in Nasik, India on April 3rd at 3:10 pm has Mars-Saturn placed exactly on the descendant at Nasik [2] . Once again the conjunction is opposite India’s radix Sun [21le].

In addition, India’s lunar return chart has the combination placed significantly on the Ascendant.

About the combination, Astrology King writes:

Initially, this transit has a tendency to make you angry, resentful or revengeful. If you channel it early into hard physical work or a creative project then you transmute this energy into positive and productive achievements. Taking the low road due to ignorance or laziness can lead to frustration and difficult situations. Going with the flow and not taking the initiative will allow frustration to build to a dangerous level. This destructive energy could then manifest as risky actions due to impatience.

In other words, the Mars-Saturn planetary combination signals tests of endurance that challenge body, mind, and spirit to find positive solutions, but harnessing its power requires deep determination and commitment to transformation, no matter what obstacles are inhibiting your progress. But care is also required to avoid ruthless methods of overcoming roadblocks.
