Australia election: What went wrong for Scott Morrison?

Australia has elected its first Labor government in almost a decade and Anthony Albanese as prime minister, ousting Scott Morrison's coalition.Mr Albanese told jubilant supporters that Australians had "voted for change". However it is still unclear whether he can secure a majority. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-australia-61534732

Eclipses and major transits to national charts are among the mundane events that signal change of governments. On May 1st Pluto stationed retrograde on the MC of Australia’s national chart relocated to Canberra, its current capital. The MC (10th house cusp) stands for the government and its leader so that Pluto station often brings a collapse of the existing government.

A solar eclipse occurring on the same day as the Pluto station aligned with the horizon and squared the meridian once again indicating that change of leadership was quite likely. The eclipse conjunct Uranus in Taurus implies that upheavals (Uranus) in security related issues (Taurus) became a factor in Morrison’s defeat. Deadly bush fires and flood events - two of Australia's worst-ever natural disasters - raised public anger over the government. The stars that conjoin the eclipse are those of the proud Queen Cassiopeia, her chained daughter Andromeda and Cetus the Sea Monster sent to devour Andromeda. The presence of Cassiopeia implies coldness and insensitivity to the problems of Andromeda. During Australia's deadly Black Summer bushfires of 2019-20, the prime minister encountered a severe backlash when he went on a poorly timed family holiday to Hawaii.

Finally take a look at Morrison’s birth chart [1]. Notice that the lunar eclipse of May 16th has fallen on his Neptune [25sc] which is part of a T-square with Sun in Taurus [22ta] and Jupiter in Leo [26le].

A note that Barnaby Joyce - wrote before he became Mr Morrison's deputy prime minister - labelled the leader a "hypocrite and a liar". Mr Joyce also wrote that he had "never trusted him". Another party colleague Ms Berejiklian was said to have labelled the prime minister "a horrible person" who was untrustworthy.

Astrologers associate Jupiter-Neptune hard aspects to the Sun with such traits as proneness to hypocrisy, lying and deception.

Your relationships can be characterized by degrees of confusion and misunderstandings,..., forming a deceiving miasma which affects all involved. There can be a pattern operating through you that subverts clear, honest and direct communication, even though you may not fully accept or realize this. https://astromatrix.org/Horoscopes/Planet-Aspects/Sun-Opposition-Neptune

With the eclipse Saturn completing a Grand Cross with Morrison’s T-square it is not surprising to see a reality check on the PM.
