Lloyd Austin Sergey Shoygu
On Friday Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin spoke with his Russian counterpart Sergey Shoygu for the first time since the invasion of Ukraine which began on Feb.24. The last time the two spoke was less than two weeks prior to the war kicked off, on Feb.18. The Friday call was reportedly initiated by Austin and described as "professional" - lasting for about an hour, with a defense official saying the Pentagon hopes it "will serve as a springboard for future conversations." https://bit.ly/3MhuBoN

Since Austin has a fairly sharp square between Uranus [21cn] and Saturn[21li] - Neptune [22li] let us first understand this square.
Uranus-Neptune: To be disappointed or deceived with regard to changes and to recognize that unrealistic expectations have been at the core of changes and tensions. (also recall that Ukraine’s chart has a Uranus-Neptune conjunction on the Ascendant)
Saturn-Uranus: Alienation due to insistence on autonomy (e.g. NATO’s insistence on including Ukraine in its fold and rejecting Russia’s proposals)
Saturn-Neptune: Reality check on illusions. Learning the difference between fact and fiction.
Phaethon/Neptune
Realize that people can "get carried away" with things because... they are into wishful thinking or preoccupied with fantasy or day-dreaming.
Lachesis/Neptune
A big emphasis on "pay attention, if you don't change this NOW, you'll actually GET where you've been going!!!" there'll be bunches of times when you and others want to "reassess" what's happening. You're apt to see that some people get into a thing AND THEN realize that it isn't working, that they were misguided or had kidded themselves about it. At a different point, you may consider whether one can "interrupt" the flow when others are "off in La-La Land."
Niobe/Saturn/Neptune
There may also be examples of people who are humbled by their unrealistic ambitions.
Mars-Hades: military (Mars) mistakes (Hades).
Saturn-Pluto: to deal with fears of being overpowered; to see that there is nothing to do but accept current hardships; yet you will not surrender till you are defeated.

The solar eclipse chart at Washington DC is essentially the same as that shown for Disney World with Neptune in Pisces on the descendant. There we are witnessing a collapse of the arrogant attitude of the exceptional nation born to rule the world that prevails among the US elite.
It is being reported that it was Austin who made the call and demanded (or requested?) a ceasefire. This itself tells us who is losing. Why would the US want a ceasefire if as they claim Ukraine is pummelling Russia?!
