German Economy Minister Robert Habeck is now getting very cold feet because the strategy of banning the excellent oil & gas sourcing that Europe had with Russia until recently to his personal dismay is now fully defeating both the EU´s purpose and Germany´s needs.
To understand the astrology behind the German dilemma, we look at Germany’s national chart [24th May 1949; 0:00 CEDT; Berlin]. The current solar arc progression in this chart is:

31824 Elatus is a centaur from the outer Solar System, approximately 48 kilometers (30 miles) in diameter. It was discovered on 29 October 1999, by astronomers of the Catalina Sky Survey at Mount Lemmon Observatory in Arizona, United States.
About this centaur, Benjamin Adamah in his book Centaurs, Damocloids and SDOs writes:
The primary and most spontaneous action emanating from Elatus is that of the usually enthusiastic smooth operator, who operates in a way that is usually perceived as pleasurable and enjoyable but who eventually makes a mess of everything. Projects or deals are not well thought out, not well prepared. The inner core process of someone with a problematic Elatus can be be summarized by “Get real!”. When the emotional life depends entirely on reacting on others or the outside world and dependency on on others, without any legitmacy to the inner core (Sun) there is an awkward split, too big a gap between the persona and the “I”. By banning Russia Germany cannot quench its enormous thirst for crude oil, processed and refined products and natural gas. Rather they will bring the European energy sourcing down on its knees, something which has finally dawned on the German Economy Minister and which by now is most probably already shared by the average European.
Refineries are tailor made for certain feedstocks. Changing the crude oil feedstock to refineries requires challenging parallel reconversion projects of different sorts that can be expensive and time consuming. Only politicians with no idea of the re-engineering involved would thus negatively affect the livelihoods of 800 million of their own people that will necessarily suffer the irreversible consequences of this mis-management of their self-made crisis.
The MC and its progression rules the actions of the government. Its conjunction with Elatus (reacting in ill prepared ways) and square to the TNP Hades (decline) can cause messy situations from which there is no easy exit.
