Astrology of China’s leadership struggle

New island rising from ocean

Chinese former leader Hu Jintao has been led out of the closing ceremony of the Communist Party Congress. The frail-looking 79-year-old was sitting beside President Xi Jinping when he was escorted away by officials. There has been no official statement by the Chinese government concerning the incident, but state news agency Xinhua said Mr Hu had not been feeling well. The footage of Mr Hu being asked to leave the stage is drawing global attention as people try to work out what happened, says the BBC's China correspondent, Stephen McDonell. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-china-63358627

The use of solar return charts in astrology can be a great tool for understanding events. What is a solar return chart? A solar return chart is erected for the exact moment when the Sun returns to its position in the natal chart. Properly understood, the solar return chart indicates what themes will be important over the coming year. Moreover, important events are seen to occur as the progressed angles aspect significant combinations in the return chart.

The current solar return chart for China [Oct.1, 1949;15:02; AWST] has the TNPs Kronos-Hades on the MC opposite Pluto on the IC. So what does this combination mean?

Kronos-Hades-Pluto: Power struggle among leaders. Humiliation or loss of position.

Now progress the return chart to Oct. 22, the date of the event and what do we have. The Saturn-Uranus square aligns with the meridian. The old order (Saturn) is toppled by the new (Uranus). Notice how illuminating the Sabian symbol for Uranus is the current context.

PHASE 49 (TAURUS 19°): A NEW CONTINENT RISING OUT OF THE OCEAN.

KEYNOTE: The surge of new potentiality after the crisis.
